great value, 10 minutes bus ride from heart of old downtown. there's also a great restaurant just 50 yards away to the left of the hotel, a "locals" place that serves large servings of true hungarian dishes at very good pricing (4 of us ate appetizers, alcoholic drinks, and entrees for usd). the bus stop to downtown is about 100 yards away from the hotel, cost is onl...
I was booked to stay for two nights and stayed for six. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and were, without exception, friendly. They spoke passable English which was a bonus. It was a lucky replacement for the residence which turned out to be overbooked upon my arrival: the it's an old hotel with history, a bit obsolete decor, but well maintained and stuff hospitality is on top standard. Pension Abel allows ordinary people to feel like old-world aristocrats for a few days, with carved woodwork, high ceilings, white plaster and a breakfast room out of Edwardian times. It is also within reasonable walking distance of most major historical attractions in the city, such as Gellert and Castle Hills, the Liberty Bridge, and the Great Market Hall.

If you are looking for a hotel that has an excellent location and great views, then look no further! Working in the tourist industry myself I can honestly say that the staff are among the friendliest & most knowledgeable I have encountered. Make sure you visit the bar as the guys there will make your stay memorable!
It is in a good environment, at the middle of a hill. It isn't in the cluttered city centre. The quality of the room is OK for this price. The breakfast is plentiful and good. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. It is quite okay for this price. There are only some little imperfection like the quality of the channels of the TV set.
I chose this hotel because it was cheapest in Budapest .Anyways This 4 star hotels was very comfortable for me.Room was cleaned everyday,with flexible servise.Wifi connection was high-speed but I didn't have connection in the midnight in my room.

I was on a business trip, and the location of Kornelia Residence was perfect for me. You can easily access downtown with the tram which is 1 minute away. The apartment was very clean, the check in was quick and friendly. I would recommend this place.
