On the positive side, I really like the location as it's so close to both the bus station and the railway station. The room was really spacious, nice and clean. However, I did not like that the room was cold, especially now in February. The heating was very low and I had to turn the heating up myself when I arrived which I did not like. I also had problems with the warm water when I showered. The warm water temperature was hardly bearable and It took 10 minutes into my shower for the warm water to arrive. All of this caused the cold which I am experiencing now. Please, turn the heating up in the cold winter months and fix the water temperature problem and everything will be fine.

Good but noisy”
The Hotel’s location is great, but if you are really looking for a place to rest then it might not be the best option, the hotel is mainly full of groups of teenagers who run all over the hallways and scream/make noise all night. (I have stayed several times not just once)

Kitchen was closed for use during pandemic. No laundry allowed. The worst thing is bedsheet is not included so need to pay extra for it.

Very bad, I booked a room for a friend and paid the room fee. Friends didn't know I paid for the room. My friend paid for the room again after the friend left and we went to ask for a refund. The front desk actually said it would take two weeks to get a refund.

A pleasant stay”
Originally booked for the whole family in the end only myself could travel. All was fine at A&O. Room fine. I had a good rest and would come again to A&O Leipzig/another hotel in the chain.

Good value for money stay in a good location”
I stayed at the A&O Hotel Leipzig for one night in a single room with private bathroom. I booked the hotel the same day I stayed based on ist location (right next to Central Station) and price. The room was of decent size, clean and basic. The buffet style breakfast is good value for money and you can't go wrong with it. In summary a good place for a good price you cannot beat.

excellent location but the room is a bit small”
overall is very good. it is just 5 minute to main station of Leipzig. besides, it is very close to the tourist points. however, the wifi charge is a bit expensive 8Euro two nights. very good that they can provide washing machine, but need 3.5Euro for washing and 3.5Euro for drying.

this hotel is ideal if you just want to a bed to sleep. the a&o hostel is just around the central train station, making it very convenient for travellers by train. the hotel is in a converted old office building and is huge. it's a popular place for school classes and youth groups, so expect a certain level of noise at breakfast. the rooms are functional and clean and you get 24h free wifi.

Right across from the train station”
This hotel was right across from the station making it super convenient, also walking distance to all the major tourist sights. A mall in the station had lots of shops and restaurants which was also convenient. It is a hotel AND a hostel, but my room was quiet even though there were lots of teen travelers staying there. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

clean, central, low price”
it's new and super clean. walking to old-town center is just 5-min. price is definitely worth it. breakfast is simple but sufficient. if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay overnight, without fancy additional features you hardly use, i highly recommend this one. the only drawback is the door is a bit thin. you can hear people walking on the corridor if you're not a person who falls asleep easily.

Great central hostel, fairly cheap. Was a little noisy in room due to main road, try to book back rooms if you can. Amazing breakfast and really helpful staff. Clean and well done hotel setup!

good location with basic facilities”
The hotel is close to the railway station but be careful to cross the street.The price for twin beds without breakfast is Euros and you have to pay cash in advance when you check in. If you pay by credit card , then additional fees will be added up.However, not far away from the railway station is Ibis hotel which shows the advertisement of room rate for only Euros per night.The room does not have a provided telephone .When requesting for a morning call , an alarm clock was given to me. Only at the lobby that you can access for a free wifi.

Although the ceiling is very high, it seems that the building was not originally for the hotel due to a rather stuffy structure. But if you can see the location or cleanliness of your room, it's very satisfying! (only few minutes away from the station)
