I booked mixed dorm but staff made me into female dorm. Vale for money, good location walking distance to 2 S Bahn station n tram stations. Lidl /trattoria/kebab shop nearby. Enjoyed staying there hanging out with others from diverse background;) clean facilities but microwave/ laundry not available while I was there. Thanks!

Everyone cautious in common rooms. Specially, when they go in bathroom/ toilet, they carry their valuables. Suitcases are with locking system. If someone has problem with allotted bed, number or room, they r just going to reception n getting the bed number or room changed. Lidl is 100meters around.....

Few staff are with wrong connections”
I experienced, that few staff wantedly behaving wrong. Not only with me. Now crunch in work force is on. Countries should go for Stocking up , clean work force. I am staying here, by seeing the brand name of AO Hostels, but not by other factors. It is good, each worker to bear name plate to give the complaint.

Mix of quiet and noisy”
The hostel is situated at a quiet community, with 10 mins walk to Laim station. Only an Italian restaurant with beer garden opposite and the nearest supermarket needs further 2 mins walk to the other direction of Laim station. Noisy in my room as it is just next to about 6 lanes of railway. Imagine busy trains are passing by all day long and you are staying on the train platform. Weather in summer won't allow you to shut the windows of your room and noisy trains will be your partners even at night.

The hostel was overbooked and the check-in system not in sync with the actual occupancy. Our room was already taken by someone else. However the very engaged staff found a room finally

The hotel has a nice location but there was no parking place contrary as stated on the web. It was really crowded to make check-in. I think the place is OK for young travelers but not for families.
