great hotel in quiet residential area and location”

perfect location for another more quiet side of barcalona. location is right next to a subway line and tourist bus. restaurant is perfect. because the hotel is small in size, very quiet home feel compared to central barca. One thing i enjoyed was the perfect service offered at this hotel and the small residential feel of actually living in barca

amazing food, but expensive, you will get what you paid by. there is parking space, not very expensive to park per day, if you pay more for better room, then you don't have to go through their kitchen for the lift to your floor, only the more expensive room are located near the check in counter. the only issue is location, it is remote sort of, if you do not drive, you might not want to choose this hotel, as it is not close by the beach or shopping area, meaning once you head out, you simply can't go back to drop off your goodies then head out again. i stayed a few nights, i would recommend staying no more then 2 nights, or may be 1 night is good enough, just to experience their restaurant.

Staff are welcoming and very helpful. Everything about the hotel is quality. Our room with a terrace provided an additional seating area, sunbeds and spacious dining area with a view over the adjacent park.

Off the beaten path... BUT.. ”

While the hotel was further away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Barcelona where all the action is, the ABaC is conveniently located to the metro rail line and 7 stops away (12 minutes) from Placa Catalunya, there is a taxi stand across the street and easy access to the metro buses and sight seeing buses just outside the hotel door. The room was awesome, and the benefit of the location is that it is extremely to sleep. The blackout shades were great and the bathrooms were very modern. The staff wad very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Best of all, their English is way better than our Spanish so it made it easy to communicate with them. The gardens are beautiful and the breakfast was amazing!!! We would consider staying here again now that we know the location of things much better.

Pagamos por una habitación de 450 € y pensabamos que tenia terraza pero no fue así. Nos decepcionó bastante ya que si lo hubiera sabido cojo una habitación normal no una suite como ponia en la reseva
