Excellent place to stay in Berlin”
I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Central/ East Berlin. Everything is nearby and the hotel and staff were both excellent. Very happy here.

Excellent in service, excellent in location and worth the money”
The receptionists were all very friendly and very attentive to our questions and needs. Our room were complete with kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and spacious living area. Washing machine and the dryer was a bonus point for our room. Location was just perfect to restaurants, close to hop on hop off buses points, muziums and other interesting spots. I would give full marks for this hotel, and highly recommended for travellers. Keep it up.

Spacious Hotel in a Safe Area”
The hotel was in a great location, just around the corner from Hackescher Markt with plenty of great restaurants in walking distance. As a first time solo traveller to Berlin, I felt very safe walking around this area in the evening. Staff were polite and helpful. It was about a 30 minute walk to the Bradenburg Gate and other attractions such as the Berlin Wall.

Bad experience on my side. Staff not helpful, if not unprofessional. Very disappointed.

Worst ever!”
If you are not European (or not from a majority ethnic group), the staffs of this inn (should not even be called a hotel) will not treat you with respect. No wonder how the fee per night is cheap! They don't spend attention to the training of the receptionist. The room I stayed was not even cleaned properly, hairs on the bed!

Clean, comfy, modern, quiet, a perfect location”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Adina Apartment Hotel in Hackescher Markt. The location was perfect for us - walking distance to lovely restaurants, lively bars, trendy shops, the S-bahn station and all the sights inc. Alexandra Platz, the Dome, TV Tower, Berlin Dungeons, etc. Despite being so central it was also really quiet which is important for a city break. The staff were very friendly and helpful; they let us have late check out (until 1pm) for free and when I accidentally left some items in the fridge they emailed me asking what I would like to do with them. The rooms were a decent size, comfortable and cosy. The only criticism I have is that the breakfast was expensive and, compared to the surrounding bars, the cocktails in the hotel were quite weak.

Pampered”
We were greeted with helpful staff and pleased when our key opened the door to a room that was spacious for European accommodations. The double bed was firm and linens crisp. A small two burner stove in an efficient kitchen station made it possible to fill in what we needed to eat when we were in. On the lower level was an exercise room and spa with sauna and two small jacuzzis. We were delighted. Our quiet room overlooked a courtyard, and that side of the room was all windows making it possible to brighten the room without electricity and add some fresh air. The slate-tiled bathroom was freshened daily, and we had the option of using a heater towel bar so that our towel bars stayed fresh. This Adina Apartment Hotel was located just off of Hackeshers Markt where UBahn, SBahn and DBahn arrived and left frequently. It was difficult to go much farther than Hackerschers Markt because there were so many excellent outdoor patio restaurants serving not only German food but also BarBQ, Tapas and Italian. The hotel offered a buffet spread breakfast that was more than generous, and eggs could be ordered to go with endless coffee served at the table. Ordering breakfast the day before brought the price down by about a third. Internet was available on the ground floor and in the bar only, a small little ticket with a lot of numbers to punch in every hour. The bar was easy, a little dark and sometimes the soft disco music interfered with my thought, but no pressure to order more to drink. This system created an odd hotel lobby, more like a zombie lobby, but by accident, on the third night I noticed that if I lit up my laptop in the bar or lobby it would work in my first floor room. BINGO. Likely, I’ll be back to Berlin again and if the price is right, I’d stay here again.

I will always stay here!”
Set in old Soviet East Berlin, and steps away from bus, tram, and the S-Bahn, this hotel is a real gem. Easy walk to Museum Island and the river, or towards the Jewish quarter. A cheap cab ride from the main train station, we could have caught the elevated train two stops right to the door. The room was huge, and very quiet. It had a great kitchen, and a very nice bathroom. We even had a pleasant view! There was a nice little supermarket behind the hotel and there were plenty of eateries near bye. This place is a self-caterer's paradise, and is very well priced for such a good location and such a generous room. We give the Adina Hotel Hackescher Markt, our highest recommendation, and will seek out other Adina Hotels when we travel. I know this sounds like I work for the company - I wish I did. They are really doing the right thing, and have a well priced, well located and simply fabulous product.

Fantastic location in Berlin!”
We were very happy with the ease of getting around Berlin from the Hackescher Markt S-bahn station, around the corner from Adina, and only 2 stops from the Berlin Hauptbahnof (main station). The hotel is walking distance from Museum Island, Alexanderplatz, Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate. Our 8th floor studio was clean, modern and well-equipped, with a view of the TV tower and no street noise. Note that breakfast is NOT included in all room rates, and that internet is only free in the lobby area, and for 30 minutes daily in your room, a slight inconvenience if one has to work longer. Staff was friendly and helpful, but not really able to tell us where to go for good vegetarian food, which we found easily on Rosenthaler, north of the S-bahn station. Highly recommend this hotel for tourists because of its location and good quality.

Perfect location, great room, highly recommended!”
accommodations were perfect for our long weekend in berlin; hackescher markt is a very attractive part of town, an easy walk to museums and good restaurants. excellent walking tours of all important historic sights leave from here, just around the corner from the hotel. the adina apartments are roomy and comfortable; staff efficient, knowledgeable, and cheerful. wi-fi is very expensive in the rooms, but free in the lobby/bar. we would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Good sized comfortable rooms.”
This is a large apartment hotel. Great location, only 100m from the Hackescher Markt Train Station and only a short walk from TV Tower and Museum Island. Also close to meeting point for Insider Berlin Tours and Fat Tire Bike Tours. Easy journey by train from Schonefeld Airport - took about 40min with one change and cost 3.5 euros. Good sized rooms with small kitchen and comfortable beds. Breakfast looked good but was more substantial then we wanted, so we chose to have coffee/croissant in local cafe. WiFi did work in our 4th Floor room with a code provided by reception. It logged out after an hour’s use but reception will provide several codes if necessary. Staff were helpful and efficient. Bikes can be hired from the hotel, but are not as comfortable as the Fat Tire Bikes. Generally all good - would definately stay there again

Excellent Location for First Timers to Berlin!”
PROs: 1) Central location in Mitte. Less than 100m to the S-Bahn (S Hackescher Market) which connects directly to the Berlin Hpf and Alexander Platz (shopping district), 200m stroll to a Bus Stop which brings you to Museum Island 2) Well-stocked supermart round the corner, and a huge hypermart (Kaufland) less than 10min walk 3) Lots of food options! Fantastic Vietnamese restaurant (Eden) right in front of the apartment, serving very authentic Pho and Bun. Also a Curry Wurst Kiosk less than 100m away 4) Apartment is modern, very clean and comes with all the facilities a traveller would need. Cons: - Air-conditioning (even at 18deg) pretty weak, which wasn’t an issue for us in early Oct, but not sure about the summer months - Main lamp wasn’t working (pulled out electric wire) which made the room slightly dark during the winter months, but not an issue as we were holidaying in Berlin! - Water kettle gave off a strange smell. We asked for a replacement but it didn’t come.

Would definitely stay again”
My husband and I stayed 5 nights at the Adina Hackescher Markt and it was just as described and just what we wanted. Perfect location to walk everywhere, although the big transit stop is just half a block away. The hotel was super central, quiet and friendly. Desk staff was great. We did not eat there because there are so many options so close by, including a supermarket just around the corner. We did have some drinks at the bar, where the staff was generally pretty good (thus the 4 star) The kitchenette was great-fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher. No coffee making apparatus, but the front desk lent us a French press(yay). Also we forgot our adapter and borrowed one from them as well.
