Old but Convenient”

My first night was restful - arriving from Dammam close to midnight. My second night exposed me to the weakness of the Hotel - Noise of Traffic. The central location and accessibility to transportation must have been the sources of attraction for the Hotel. But as the city grew and cars multiplied Al Bustan stands in the middle of traffic and the BUZZ and HUMM go on all day and all night. A light sleeper has no chance. Probably investing in Double Glazing of windowes may help.

I normally don't post review of hotels online but Al-bustan really exceeded my expectations. It is close to everything and very accessible to numerous public transportation.

Good clean comfey”

This is a good relativly modern hotel, with well appointed rooms, and a nice entrance. The staff are freeindly, although English is a little limited. Be aware that there is not much within walking distance, but they are happy to flag down a taxi for you. Also when travelling there from the airport (cost SR50-70) make sure you get the right hotel as there is another Mercure Grand Hotel... its the Al Bustan bit that the Taxi needs to know! Otherwise this is a good spot for business, but would be limiting for a family...

This hotel is located at a convenient surrounding area. Ballad shopping area is not very far, restaurants can be easily found at the hotels surrounding, nevertheless, the food at the hotel itself is of international standard.

this is an amazing hotel. great location and good price. staff are very service-oriented. i will definitely stay here again.

Trial and Error”

The parking was a disaster. Extension works were full in swing not announced to the guests and hence additional noise. The location of the hotel is on one of the busiest intersections of Jeddah and luckily I fetched a room with 180 degrees traffic meant 24 hrs unabated noise. The rooms are worn down, the minibar contained one Pepsi, two bottles of Water. The bathroom has its own story, however, the room service was quick and overall the price was low.

We would like to raise one issue that we as business trip face a problem on issuance of invoice wherein they gave invoice after deducting your commission which becomes difficult for us to reimburse the amount from Company since we need whole amount invoice. Needs attention on this subject

The experience was not up to my expectations. There was no greetings from the receptions and the staff who were at the reception are not at all friendly with the customers

All facilities have been cut down. No lunch or dinner. Only sandwiches are provided now. Not even bathroom slippers
