It was good, it's the second time I've stayed there and I will continue to stay there. When I find something that has everything I like I tend to stick to it. Close to one of the best restaurants in Bahrain IMHO Mohammed Noor. Exhibition street is full of shops and bits and pieces. Warblers pub is great too. If you have any problems the star are willing to help and always seem friendly. The manager is brilliant. This hotel is jumping up the list of hotels to stay at in Bahrain and you can see why

This was our first time to Bahrain and we loved every minute of it. The hotel was just what we needed; Amazing hotel with superb staff friendly and helpful.I greatly appreciate the warm hospitality from all the staff in the hotel. Rooms were lovely and clean feels modern and especially lunch at Akbar restaurant was delicious with music thank you every much. Excellent location. Parking available all time Would recommend and stay again if in Bahrain.

It's a little old, needs some refurbishing in the public areas. But the room was very comfortable, clean, with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The area is close to the airport and also to the national museum, and to the highway, so you can use it as a base for travel. They sometimes offer a free airport shuttle, check the specific offer. Breakfast was basic but good.

Enjoyed my stay, albeit a short one. The hotel is a 10 - 15 minute cab journey from the airport (traffic permitting) and situated close by the waterfront. Plenty of shopping and places to eat within close proximity of the property, and some of the kingdom's most famous landmarks are clearly visible from the rooftop. The rooms themselves aren't big, but they are clean, comfortable and modern. As mine was only a short stay, it was more than sufficient. Compared to London, the hotel is offers great value. The gym, steam room, sauna and changing facilities are of a good standard. The restaurant appeared to struggle when under pressure. I had hoped to grab a bite to eat for lunch before flying out, but found only the remains of the breakfast service at 1:00pm. Breakfast itself consisted mostly of pastries, pancakes, etc. Not the greatest, but by no means the worst. Single traveler or couple, I think the hotel offers good value for money.

As others have said, the hotel's free breakfast could use more variety, especially for those people who are staying at the hotel more than a day or two. Everything else about the was great. The hotel is along the eastern edge of Manama, within easy walking distance of the Bahrain National Museum to the north and the Al Fateh Mosque to the south. Nothing to do with the hotel itself, but I feel a warning must be said about the cab drivers out front. Despite the fact that that they are required by law to use meters, you will find yourself having to haggle with them. If you finally agree to get one to use the meter, the game is not over. They will still try to cheat you by upping the fare surcharges. Look carefully at the meter when you get into the cab. There are two LED readouts. The one on the left is the actual fare, the one on the right is where surcharges are entered. For example, there is a 2 BD surcharge applied to anyone catching a cab to the airport. But you will find that cab drivers will tack on this surcharge for any trip around town just to try to get more money off of you. I had a nice argument with one particular fellow who must have assumed I wasn't paying attention when I saw him adding the 2 BD surcharge for a trip that had nothing to do with the airport. After he dropped me off, I refused to pay the extra 2 BD for the short ride and showed him the signs in the cab (written in both Arabic and English) that detailed when surcharges were to be added. Since my trip across town didn't qualify, I simply deducted that amount from the fare he wanted and gave him the remainder. He was not happy, but in the end there was nothing he could do about it as I could have easily reported him to the police if he wanted to escalate things further. The stickers on all the cab windows have contact information for the police so "reminding" the drivers of that fact will usually get them to back off.

1. Finding the hotel was a hustle because there was no signage in the area with the new name, the old name (Florida) is still up. 2. When I checked in, the front desk staff did not share info about the available facilities i.e. gym, pool, etc. 3. The room had a stench that would not fade even after calling housekeeping to solve the issue. Note: They used what looked like Air wick bathroom spray which just made it worse. 4. There was dust on the couch in the living room which was so evident. 5. The toilet seat had stains, the toilet roll was running out and the shower head was filthy. 6. The hot water got cold in minutes during my shower (a first even for a hotel in this category). 7. Breakfast was not buffet style though I admit that was no was not promised. After selecting from an al a carte menu, the meal was served cold and everything was drenched in oil. Over all I am very disappointed mostly because I expected more especially with basic things since the hotel was rebranded.

All were good accept the following notices that I wish the hotel work on.. - The rooms corridor was smelly the whole time we were staying there. - The doors sealing was not perfect as you can hear the noise from other rooms. - The staff at reception they were not even smiling or pretending that they are nice and I guess this will not attract customers to come again. - The lighting is very whitey so it does not give you the comfortable atmosphere.

I would have to say that the best aspect of this hotel is that the staff I came into contact with were very polite and helpful - they are charming people. As for the facilities, although the room was large there was not much more good I can add. I was on the second floor and there was a constant musical rumble from the "club" until it closed around 2 AM. I was able to walk to most of the places I wanted to visit and at night the view near the hotel is marvelous, but in the day, probably anywhere in the city, there was a casual uniformity to the scenery.

My first time here at the Metropolitan, I booked it for the good price, and was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Only a small hotel, but the room was new and large with king size bed, very nice bathroom and all the usual amenities. Very comfortable hotel, with pleasant, helpful hotel staff. The hotel position is very good, close to all local facilities, and only a 4 dinar taxi ride from the airport. The hotel also has free shuttle bus which took me to airport on departure. Certainly it will be my first choice on future trips to Bahrain.

our stay att ramee hotel was really nice it was like having my own apt. to come back to after running around manama for the day. the service was great, hotel employee's promt and respectful.i will stay there again next time im in bahrain because its very affordable and very comfortable place. i gave it a 1 on food/dining only because there is no room service for food, but they hav a good variety of menu's from local restraunts to choose from.
