"We attended a wedding in Caleruega and Splendido is just 20mins drive away. We booked a Mountain View Double Room. The room is big enough with a study and 2 Queen beds. Initially we noticed a flying mosquito so we called for the concierge. They asked if they can spray an insecticide but we were in the room. So the housekeeping came back asking if we would like to move to another room. So we did and it seems the room we were transferred to is an upgrade. We're thankful for the accommodation they made. Breakfast is plated but the serving is huge! Garlic Rice with scrambled eggs (that looks like 2pcs of eggs), 3pcs of Longganisa and half Daing na bangus! 6 slices of watermelon for dessert and they also served vegetable salad which we declined coz we felt the food we have is so much. Plus you can get cereals and bread with peanut butter anytime. Coffee and juice is also refillable. We felt guilty for not being able to finish everything on our plate. How I wish they just put the food in the buffet set up so we can control the food that we take. Nonetheless we're very much satisfied with our stay. Most of the hotel staff were courteous and always smiling. We also tried their restaurant. They have pastas but most of the Entrees were Filipino dishes. The serving size is good for 2-3 persons and the rate is just okay. We had 3 dishes (pork sisig, crispy tawilis and chicken wings with bagoong) with 2 rice and Pumpkin Soup split into 2. We paid Php600++. Parking is Free! All in all, we had an amazing stay.👍 "

"Everything about Chateau Royale is exceptional. I would love to come back here again. We celebrated New Year’s eve and my birthday at the hotel/resort. it was one of the most memorable celebrations we had. The place is soooo HUGE! and they have complete amenities/facilities inside name it! Considering the price here in agoda, believe me that it was so cheap! For a worth 10,500 family cabin room we only had it for 3500 per room. Chateau Royale is the best ❤️ Beyond words. "

"Our family was attending a wedding reception in Alfonso, so we needed a place to stay that could fit the three of us just for the night. The staff were very accommodating and courteous. They also have rooftop and jacuzzi where people can hang out and a free karaoke in the lobby. The room was okay and space was enough. I guess it's okay for an overnight stay and if you need to stay in Alfonso, but the place itself is quite far from downtown Tagaytay."

"Host 💛 The host is very responsive. I didn't meet her but she made sure that my requests are done by the receptionist. Cleanliness 💙 The condominium is very clean, comfortable and spacious. Condominium 💚 The condo is very pleasing. It's minimalist and intagram friendly. I love drinking my coffee in the balcony because of the beautiful view, taal lake. Plus the weather is great. Staff 🧡 The receotionists are accommodating and courteous. Even the security guards greets us good morning. Vicinity 💜 It is located near grocery stores, malls and specially near the venue where we are attending a wedding. Amenities 👎 Amenities are also great, they have hot tub, billiards, gym and music room. I just don't like the fact that we still need to pay extra for this. And it's not cheap. Overall, we loved our stay and we'll definitely come back! ❤️"

"Pros: -Architecture of the whole place was very nice and very unique. -the pool is clean and there are tables and chairs half submerged in water -staff are friendly and accommodating - check in process was fast and organize -lobby is inviting and has water dispenser for guests - not located in the main road, so it is very quiet. Road is going to Caleruega to Batangas. - they have tilapia pond for fishing Cons: -the bfast was a huge disappoint. We stayed 2 nights; the 1st morning we had bangus bistek and longganisa then 2nd day ham with sauce and longganisa. They provide 2 viands, rice, egg, bread and juice. I am not really a picky eater but the viand is just basic to cook but cannot understand the taste.. Hard to finish the food. I asked if they have the same chef for bfast lunch and dner and the staff said yes.. So did not bother to try having lunch and dner. The hotel is near twin lakes where lots of restos to choose from. -the bathroom is quite small. The gap between toilet and the door is only a few inches. -almost no wifi in the rooms. You have to go out or stand in d door. Overall, will still consider staying in abagatan as it away from the busy rotonda area."

"We got a one bedroom room at a very good price. Living Room and Kitchen area is very roomy with sofa beds. Masters bedroom though is a little bit small. Only one TV placed at the Living Room area, none inside the bedroom. Kitchen comes with plates and silverware and a two door refrigerator. Bathroom toilet would be great if you can install a bidet. Swimming pool access is not free, needed to pay an extra Php 150 per head. "

"we stayed twice at the alfonso hotel, last december 29, 2012 and january 30, 2013, both because of weddings held at chapel on the hill and caleruega. the hotel served its purpose well, just the right place to stay for out-of-town guests. the alfonso hotel is a 5-10 minute drive to the two chapels, 2-3 minute drive to sonya's garden. the rooms are unexpectedly big for a budget hotel and very clean. the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. the breakfast served at the hotel is nice especially the barako coffee. there is a big space at the front and rear of the hotel for parking. the hotel is suitable for families with small children. best value for money."
