This hotel is the most convenient hotel for those of us who depend on the JR trains. Rain or shine, you can walk through the BIC store (12 story building)and walk directly to the station tracks within a 5 minute brisk walk with your luggage even. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The amenities are also great to have and keep for your travels throughout Kyoto

It’s locate near JR kyoto Station and tokyo tower also shopping center walk about 5 mins. Easy to find some food and travel, the staff was very nice you can leave your baggage and travel between the day and get it back in the evening.👍

Great location and comfortable bed ”
Very happy with the room, the bed was comfortable it overlooked the train station could watch the Shinkansen go by, enjoyed the closeness of the Seven 11 the JR line to the station, great food places close by opposite Central exit Kyoto station called Porta Dining especially Okonomiyaki Machiya.. The staff need to work on their English, it was difficult to communicate. Best way to go to the Shinkansen is via the central exit escalator, not via bic camera. Bic camera only opens at 10 am so you can't use the shortcut before then. Big camera closes at 9 pm. Great Japanese style bathroom and facilities.

Great location to Kyoto station cholesterol transport and food”
The bed was comfortable which is very important to me, you must request Western pillow not Japanese pillow if you like comfort. Very close to bic camera, it only opens at 10 a.m. so that's a problem if you're leaving early best to go to Central Jr entrance to Kyoto station for traveling on shinkansen or Jr line. Opposite Central entry to station are escalators and lots of food . Big TV in the room only 1 English Channel BBC. Facilities are good. Reception staff do not really understand English very well. I had a problem when I checked in with the room smelling like cigarettes I asked to move they gave me another room and then they called me 20 minutes later saying they wanted me to move again but that room smelled of paint and I said I could not stay in that room with that smell so they left me in the second room. There is a microwave in the foyer. There is no laundry.

Great location”
The hotel is in a great location. The bathroom designer made some strange choices. I’m 1.77 and it’s physically impossible to stand under the shower. Due to something in the ceiling it’s impossible for me to stand up in the shower. Thus the shower fixture is about 1.60 (about - I never measured) from the bath. For a purpose built building this was an odd choice. Stay for the location.

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Kyoto station central exit, good location. The toilet is very small, both me and my husband are small in size and the space is just right for us. Thus those who has a bigger built might want to choose a bigger room.

The location is excellent. The price is very reasonable. The room is standard Japanese “business hotel” size, modern, and clean. The only thing I did not like was the low ceiling height over the bathtub (I’m 180 cm tall).
