We used APA Hotel TKP Sapporoeki-Kitaguchi as a layover hotel before heading to Niseko after arriving from Okinawa. The hotel was in walking distance from the Sapporo JR North Exit. There are many car rental businesses in the area, all within walking distance if there is a need for one. There are also plenty of places to get a drink or a bite to eat. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating during our stay. The free breakfast with our reservation was more than adequate and very tasty. We would stay here again and recommend others to do the same.

Cheapest accommodation we can find near the Sapporo train station and yet the facility meets its 3-star standard. Good if you returning the car to Avis Budget rent a car also.

Ok, could be better”
In my room the curtain has some stains. The aircon, when switch to heater, it smells bad enough for me to just turn it off and sleep in a bit cold condition. The bathroom dustbin has previous guests' trash.

Great Location”
Last spring break, I stayed two night at APA Hotel TKP Sapporo Eki- Kitaguchi Excellent. Based my opinion, this hotel is located near from JR Sapporo Station. Around 5-10 minutes by walking. The receptionist could speak little English but they need to improve their English skill. The room is pleasurable. There is a big window inside. But the room is little bit small. The king bed and the pillow was quite comfortable. The bathroom is very comfortable and clean. There is a shampoo, body wash, hair conditioners, tooth brush,tooth paste, and hair dryer inside the bathroom. Overall I was pleased by the room, cleanliness, friendly personnel, free wifi, quite room, and bath room. I will stay in this hotel again when I am in Sapporo.

Excellent hospitality”
APA Hotel TKP has done a great job in their exceptional customer service. Though their staff have limited command of English, but they really try their best to assist their customers. The only disappointment was we were not lucky to try out the roof top onsen as it was under maintenance. We stayed there for 4 weeks and the outdoor onsen was closed all the time. :( I like the spacious room as compared to the rest of the hotels we stayed in Sapporo. However, this hotel is located near kita-junijo station (1 station away from Sapporo station). So for those who shop a lot and don't like to walk, maybe you will need to look for other APA hotels which is near to Sapporo Station. It's 1.4km away from Sapporo, but walking that long distance in winter is simply not desirable. Overall, me and my friends enjoyed our stay in this hotel. :)

A trusted chain hotel”
I have on other occasions stayed in other APA Hotels chain, so this time I believe they would provide the same excellent service. I stayed for 5 nights with a friend. Unfortunately we got the smoking room, which was indeed smelled a lot. We tried spraying the odor spray, even opened the window, but everytime we re-entered our room, the smell was still there. Room was quite spacious, enough to open two medium suitcases at the same time, without obstructing access to the bathroom. Hair dryer is top notch! Amenities is complete. However, we found the bathroom cleanliness somehow lacking a little bit. But overall it was still good.

Location: Hotel is located near the Sapporo Train Station, an approximate 10 minutes walk from north exit (towards bus terminal station). Walk straight along the road from the bus terminal and passed around 4 traffic light. The hotel will be located at your left side. Along the way, you can spot some conveniences store and restaurants. Room: The room was considered spacious for 3 and was fully equipped with amenities. Bathroom was small but this is the same across the APA hotel we been to. Especially love the clean and comfy of the bed in the room. It stayed constant through other outlet as well 😊 Room was not equipped with air-con (subsitute to heater during winter and window can’t be open), but the temperature will be gradually be lower during the night. Overall a pleasant stay.

Spacious room in a big hotel.”
Pros - the comfort of the room due to its size as compared to other APA hotels. Cons - breakfast is very basic for a hotel of this size. The facilities especially in the bathroom have the signs of wear and tear- the hotel keep them clean and maintain them - credit to them.

not too far from JR Sapporo with small rooftop public bath”
Bigger than what we expected, comparing to other branches of APA hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Clean room provided with good amenities. The public bath was tiny, can fit not more than 3-4 ppl but that's fine since there was nobody using it.

Value for Money”
The room and restroom is larger than the japanese standard. This hotel made our Snow Festival Tour unforgettable, short distance walk to the Sapporo Station, very near to all of our Yuki Matsuri destinations. Staff are so friendly and accomodating, esp with advises and options on how to go to our destinations. All of us were able to sleep and rest well comfortably. Plus they have the best housekeeping staff! we were still in our rooms during their cleaning sched, but they patiently ask opinions on what time they come shld come back. My family were satisfied with the stay, in other words.. good value for money, with the cheaper price we also had free breakfast. I recommend this to all travellers in Sapporo.

Small but cozy”
Good side was the hot bath on top floor. Super relaxing after a cold freezing day outside. They suppose to have an outdoor bath too, but was out of services during my stay. Sad. Location is not bad. Within 10 mins walk from JR Sapporo station. APA is very close to Hokkaido University. This campus in snowy days was amazing! Worth visiting.

Exceptional”
Excellent Hotel. Very close to the main train station. Onsen was a nice touch. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We took an early train to the airport and the staff arranged a taxi the night before so we didn't have to lug our bags in the snow and icy sidewalks which would have made the 10 minute walk to the train station a 20 minute walk. Overall very pleased.

Strategic locations with convenient store nearby”
It's located near Sapporo Station which is connected to few shopping malls. Convenient store (Family Mart & Lawson) are located nearby from left and right respectively. Onsen is available on rooftop and well maintained of course. And it's located right in the same building with Budget car rental, which is super convenient for me when i need to return the car. But do take note that parking at hotel with charges, but definitely cheaper than you park you at any paid carparks nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay over here for 4 nights. And it's value for the price.

Great value for money”
We were really happy with the stay. The hotel is 350m walk to the nearest train station which makes it really convenient. Rooms are nice and clean with spacious space for two. There are 2 convenient shops that open 24-7 closed by. Couldn't ask for more for such a good price.

it's near to Sapporo Station, but confuse with another APA Hotel TKP which is at the South Part ”
This hotel is at the North Part of Sapporo Station which walking distance around 6min away. But, confuse with another APA Hotel TKP which locate at the South Part of Sapporo Station. Overall consider OK, but there is no free car park at the hotel although stay in the hotel. The facilities are almost equipped, but the fridge don't have freezer which I can't froze my ice cream :-(

Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very big as compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in. You can comfortably open 2 big luggage and still have space to walk around! Booked this hotel as there is a Budget car rental branch just downstairs beside the hotel. Convenience stores located within close vicinity and about 10mins walk from Sapporo Station.
