Surprisingly nice for the miney”
This is a very quaint and hip hotel. It isn’t large but it is very pleasant. Staff is very personable and helpful. I got in a bit earlier after my international flight and they moved heaven and earth to clean a Room so I could crash. About an 8 minute walk from the Munich Hauptbanhof so really convenient. 15 minute Walk to MarienPlatz. Breakfast is given in their annex building. The breakfast was very good. Breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, eggs, juices, industrial strength good ranola/muesli, and more! I HIGHLY recommend this artsy boutique Hotel!

The style of Arthotel Munich Hotel”
When looking for a Hotel to stay in during our brief two day stay in Munich, my daughter and I looked on the net for something that had some style and pazzaz as this was a special time for us! This is where the Arthotel Munich Hotel came into play. As a Designer by trade, I wanted something that would be interesting and the Arthotel didn't dissapoint! It is quirky and decorated with fun, bright colours which made for a very happy two night stay. The Staff were very accommodating by having our room made available by midday and also changing it to a non smoking room with no fuss when I asked for it. The beds were very comfortable with the room being light, airy and warm. We had breakfast in the Restaurant attached which was loaded with all kinds of yummy food from meats to sweet treats and you could go up for as many helpings as you wanted! We met a great bunch of girls one morning from Greece and hooked up with them later that day to explore the city. All in all, the Arthotel is a great Hotel that is very central to the City making it easy to walk to if you don't have a car. Thank you Arthotel for giving us great memories of our stay in Munich.

10/10 hotel has service, location, decor!”
My husband and I visited the city for our honeymoon and stayed at the Arthotel Munich. We were both so impressed by the high level of service we received. Several hotel staff were helpful and kind to us, here are just a few examples: - I accidentally made our two-night stay into two different bookings. The manager moved some reservations around to let us stay in the same room! - We needed to print train tickets, and a receptionist printed them for us free of charge! - Free luggage room, and they let us stay in the lobby, use the bathroom, and charge our devices for hours before our 11pm train. - During the holidays, they offered free cookies and gluhwein in the lobby! Our actual hotel stay was also great! Highlights: - the hotel is interestingly decorated with modern art - the breakfast spread is great, with servers even offering chocolate and glasses of free sparkling wine to guests - perfect cosy temperature in our room - broken toilet was quickly fixed 10/10 really lovely people!

The Arthotel Munich is really an excellent hotel with an abundant breakfast, superb location (a couple of minutes walk to the train station and city centre), very good WIFI, friendly and smiling staff and clean premises including our room. We really recommend this hotel to any one visiting Munich.

A pleasant stay”
The staffs at the reception were so friendly and helpful. And we had a quiet and tidy room with a wide bathroom! The room was enough for 3 people of us. Also, breakfast was so delicious and you can enjoy it appreciating the art paintings on the wall. After the stay, I found that why this hotel is called 'Arthotel' :) I also loved its location. I guess it'd be much better for travellers who may need to go to München ZOB(Central Bus terminal). It takes about 5 mins from München Hauptbahnhof(station) and also about 7 mins to get to ZOB. I can say I had a very pleasant stay in Munich!

1st timers”
It was our 1sr time in Munich & this hotel was very good. It was quite expensive, however, for that time of the year, Octoberfest, hotels are all over the top. We did go to the festival & found we could walk from the hotel which was handy. It's also walking distance to the historical city centre, about 10mins. The main train station is 2mins away. Our room was a quad, very comfy & the shower was great, good beds & pillows. Lots of places we stayed in Germany had goose feather pillows which I found quite thin & flat. The breakfast, included in the price, was really good. There was eggs, bacon, sausages, cold meats of every sort, a huge variety of teas, juices, coffee, a variety of breads, etc. There is free wifi throughout the hotel & the staff were very helpful & spoke fluent English as most Germans do. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location”
Arthotel Munich is very conveniently located near the main training station - within walking distance - a bit pricey for what is offered and expected better decor given what I read on the internet but all in all it's a clean hotel with friendly staff and a decent breakfast with free internet access - would probably stay again there - had a room overlooking the main road which is busy and noisy but double glazed window closed off all the noise and it was not a problem for us - might be a problem in summer if ppl want to let in some air.

It's really a nice hotel worthy staying.”
In the morning when I checked-in, I was early there due to my early air-freight. A lady help me to enter the garage although I can't have the early-check in. But she is really so nice to offer the room for me as soon as possible. I only spent 1 hour waiting time in the Hotel and can have a nice snap in that morning. Really a very nice and friendly staff of Arthotel. The overall comment to this hotel is no-doubt 10 points. Thank you again.

Nice 3-star hotel”
The hotel is close to Munich Central station. The room was clean, comfortable, warm, and quiet. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food - mostly continental-style but with some cooked items. The quality of food was good, particularly the various type of bread. (We are vegetarian and there was still plenty of choice for us.) As a 3-star hotel in the city centre, the rooms are efficient rather than luxurious, but the hotel does a particularly good job with what it has - everything is neat, clean and convenient. The staff are helpful and welcoming.

Excellent base in the city”
We selected this hotel partly because of its excellent location. It’s within walking distance of the main station and the car rental depot. The hotel is clean and tidy and our room was nicely furnished with a spacious bathroom. The hotel décor is modern and bright. The buffet breakfast was generous, with something to suit every taste. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return here on our next visit to Munich.

A hotel in an excellent location”
The hotel took care of our request (emailed a week before and they replied within a day). The room was spacious for 3 adults and they have AC in the room. It will be ideal if they provide an electric kettle (we brought our own so no problem for us). Bed was comfortable, water temperature/pressure was good too. 10- 15 mins walk to city centre, very convenient if you arrived from Salzburg (station exit is at the same street as hotel). Supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. One thing to note is that the walk from city centre didn't feel very safe at night (areas ard main station is always complicated, same case for every city), but that can be avoided by taking public transport back. Staff were professional, and also gave us a late checkout(12pm) when we requested. Breakfast was alright, will recommend this hotel if you are looking for a modern and comfortable hotel near the Munich train station.

Great”
Great located in the centre of Munich. Close to different public transportation: Buses, trains, trams. If you come for a short visit this is the place. Very friendly staff made your stay comfortable. The rooms have shower with hot water, security box, mini fridge and Tv with several local and international channels. Very clean and isolated from the street noise.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Enjoyed out stay there. We had 7 people (family with adult children). Breakfast was great and suggestions from staff was also excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at when traveling to Munich.

A comfortable hotel”
The room is big and comfortable, and it is near the Munich Central Station and you can go to anywhere you like easily. Moreover, the hotel offered a good breakfast with variety of food. However, the wifi is a bit slow there.

OK, not amazing, but fine.”
The hotel had fun designs on the doors of the rooms. Aside from that, I wouldn't say it is especially hip or artistic. I was disappointed with the staff member who disinterestly advised me about the fitness centre. which doesn't exist. agoda lists a fitness centre as being available. it isn't on site. there is a private health club in the vicinity that may or may not give cheap rates for arthotel guests. The receptionists put a X on the map for me to go out and find this mythical gym. I couldn't I went to the place on the map and asked people - they confirmed I was in the right place but there was no gym. It is incredibly misleading!

Clean, modern, cozy with great breakfast”
The room was small, but not smaller than on the photos. I was traveling solo, so it didn't matter really. The bathroom was 2/3 the size of the room itself, which was definua nice surprise. Very clean, and the nice touches, like the Harribo gummy bears make it clear they really care. The breakfast was amazing, too. Tons of types of bread, fresh butter, veggies, cheeses, muesli, fruit, everything was there. All in all, I don't think I ever got more bang for buck at a hotel. 5/5 will definitely go back.
