Excelent location”
Classic hotel with a beautiful entrance. Located nearby Enrique Granados Street where one can find nice restaurants and coffee shops. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had booked couple times in our trips to Barcelona. Totally recommended.

It’s in the little things : I asked the concierge to call for a taxi ! I thought he was just going to call , but no … he ran outside and walked half a block to call a taxi over … just fantastic! Very helpful crew and highly recommended hotel 👍

Just outside the "tourist area" this hotel provides good accommodations in an area close, but not in, the tourist area. Good. restaurants near by. Hotel is older, but well maintained.

An overall pleasant stay”
What I like: the lobby is really nice, very European! Staff was nice too. (Asked for kettle and they borrowed to us throughout our stay) What I dislike: the hairdryer does not seem work well, took really long to dry my hair (mid length hair), the twin room was spacious but the double room was sooo tiny, theres only two lifts (with max occupancy 2 pax in 1 lift)

Had a good 6 nights stay. Staff was friendly and offered a free upgrade because the hotel was not full at that time. Upgraded room was very spacious. Never tried the breakfast so cannot comment on it. Location was relatively close to the metro lines, about 5 to 7 mins walk, longer if you are dragging your luggage along. Some nice eats around that area too. Would recommend if there are no better options nearer to the metro.

Pathetic air conditioning ”
I stayed for two nights separately in astoria. The first day we reached we were alloted a room. After checking in we noticed that air conditioner was not working. We asked the front desk. They sent a man to chech and said its fine it will work. After 4 more hours seating in heat we called them again. They then changed our room. The other room was fine. We asked them that we are checking out tom and would check in again but please see that we are given room with air conditioning checked. We came after a day and we were checked inn tnto a room. The room had same problem and the whole process was repeated again. Really disappointed

Lovely hotel the quieter Eixample area ”
Loved our stay at Astoria. Wandered around the hotel in the Eixample area , and experienced Barcelona away from the mad crowds of the Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Lovely bars and restaurants nearby too. Rooftop tool was a saviour after a long day of trekking all over Barcelona. Would recommend Astoria to my friends.

The Astoria Hotel is a lovely hotel to stay in. A nice walk to the PL Catalunya but wear comforable shoes !! You do alot of walking in Barcelona ! You don't notice the walk as there is so much to see with the architecture and of course the shops on your way to the centre of Barcelona. We had a really lovely time ,we were also dipped with good weather ! A truely beautiful city .

Amazing stay at Astoria Hotel!!”
Usually, when I'm booking hotels and look at the pictures they have posted, I don't expect it to be as lovely as those pictures when I get there in person except for this hotel. Astoria Hotel blew my expectations. The room was perfect; the hotel staff was excellent and kind. It is in a great location close to Diagonal and Rambla de Catalunya; very close to metro stations, restaurants, shopping, and bars. The rooftop was very nice and clean with a great view of part of the city. The room was very ample and cozy; the bathroom was excellent and beautiful. The wifi was excellent, and they let you leave your luggage in the front desk if your check out is way before your departure. Overall, my stay here was very relaxing and convenient, but best of all very affordable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and stay here again when I go back to Barna.
