Everything about my families stay was amazing we had our son who was 1 year old and our dog as well. They were very accommodating towards our child and dog. The breakfast is awesome and it’s a different menu everyday so there is plenty of variety. I also recommend getting a dinner at least 1 night during your stay it’s prepared very well and is relatively inexspensive compared to the local economy. My family and I plan on coming back here again.

Outstanding place and hospitality”
The lodge offers true hospitality and and a feeling of beeing at home. The rooms are nicely furnished, clean and spacious. Breakfast and dinner tasty and made with love for details and special needs. The owners are always ready to help and have good advice and suggestions for activities. They gave us free rides anytime. So the location bit out of town wasn't relevant. We would go back anytime.

Friendly, Comfortable, Fantastic!!!”
When we arrived at Backcountry Lodge Hakuba we were greeted by Eric, Fumie and gorgeous Lani (their golden retriever) who made sure that our every need was met and that we were accommodated in every way possible. Our rooms were spacious, clean and the decor had a homely feel. There is a beautiful living space with a fireplace which was where we spent most of our time. Our breakfast was delicious and nutritious which prepared us for long days on the slopes. I highly recommend that you have lunch/dinner at the lodge also. Their menu is fantastic. Eric also had amazing local restaurant recommendations, which did not disappoint. We were received in this lodge as house guests rather than tourists. Eric and Fumie are so friendly, lovely, caring and Lani is the most gentle dog you will ever meet. This lodge is an absolute gem and we were so lucky to have stumbled upon it. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we return to Hakuba.

The warmest host you can ask for”
I stayed for 6 nights with Backcountry Lodge Hakuba and enjoyed everyday of it. The lodge is newly renovated and very cosy. It has a fireplace, which is painstakingly maintained by the hosts, Eric and Fumie. Both of them are a joy to have around. Fumie makes us excellent breakfast every morning and it is always something new. The room is spacious and very clean. There are also areas to lounge around after a hard day at the slopes. It's the little thing that counts, and I think Backcountry Lodge Hakuba really nailed the services here. One thing to consider is the location, which is a little further out but they offer a shuttle service to all the ski resorts nearby and it wont be a problem if you drive. Overall, great place to stay!

辺りが暗くなって到着したのですが宿を見過ごしてしまいました笑 着いてからのオーナーの対応もとても親切で感じ良かったです。部屋もホテルとはまた違う感じで新鮮な感覚でした。朝は外に出てからのロケーションも最高で全てがヨシッて感じで良い思い出ができました。また行きたいと奥様もご満悦でした。

登山の方にもオススメです”
白馬登山(唐松岳)の帰りに利用しました。 下山して八方温泉で汗を流した後、 すぐ近くのバスターミナルでピックアップしていただきました。 お部屋はゆったりと作られており、 泊まった部屋にはロフトも付いていました。 ラウンジには暖炉があり薪が燃えるのを眺めながら過ごしたり、 吹き抜けのある2階のフリースペースでお子さんが遊んでいたり、 他のゲストの方が居ても気兼ねせず過ごせました。 朝食のパンケーキも他に夕食もお願いしましたが、 奥様の手作りのお料理も美味しかったです。 ゆったりと流れる時間の中でとてもリラックスして過ごせました。

白马树林里的小屋，特别适合家庭住客”
Eric来自美国，在白马树林里拥有了这间民宿。主人一家都非常好客，每天早上的自制早餐准备得非常用心，对周边游乐设施也热心推荐，还为我们准备了优惠券。民宿有只叫公主的小狗，孩子们都很喜欢。跟住在镇上相比，如果是非自驾会有一点不方便，毕竟吃饭什么的，需要有大概十分钟的车程，不过Eric会提供雪场的接送服务。这次是自驾过去，很高兴选择了这间民宿，离开了镇上的嘈杂，还能享受林间的乐趣。希望夏天还可以再去住一次，体验不一样的白马。
