Location is quiet, next to a lake. The staff welcomed us even if we were quite late (we arrived after midnight).

My main problem was that I payed more than I booked on booking.com (about 15 euros more / double room). There is a language barrier if you don't speak Hungarian ( the staff speaks a very poor English) .

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, absolute hell hole”

absolutely nothing

what a hell hole!! can only describe it if that Seen in a horror film or hotel nightmares. filthy, incredibly rude staff who argued we had not paid even though we showed proof. staff stated they would inform police and then spoke to a English speaking staff member who agreed we had paid. no apologie from staff member just told “leave”! sockets in room hanging off wall making them unsafe to use , ripped towels, smashed glass shelf , filthy carpets, no air con. can’t leave windows open as so overgrown you wake up with a bed of leaves! no toiletries. no blind in bathroom meaning anyone on the lake can see you shower/dress. fridge dosnt work . rock hard beds . no clean towels or room service/clean despite 6 day stay . very noisy ! if you want a lay in be prepared to be woken at 7.30am by the jet skis on the lake- the lake which is not free to hotel guests.

Firstly we choose this hotel for airport location a 15min drive, we were very surprised with the other facilities in the area - the hotel is right beside the lake and restaurants/bars where was excellent!!! Now for the staff The manager - friendly and oh so sweet until we paid in first 2minuites then he didn't want to know us I asked 3 questions which clearly where inappropriate due to his tutting and hand waving, I asked how to get to the beech (how dare I, I know) I asked how would we get out of the carpark which had a barrier at 3am, and the worst question of all, Where's the pool and spa (that is in the photos) he told me they where closed at 5pm (which we found strange) the hotel itself is old and quaint which we liked and a little run down but still I would stay again for airport location and to have the opportunity to hang out at the lake the evening prior to a flight! One last thing its cash only and be aware there is an additional charge of 15euro if you want Aircon (a fan) in ur room - the rooms were very hot but in fairness it was 32degrees! It generally was grand to stay as long as you aware of what to expect.

checkin was disgusting kept waiting for around 2 hours, and in morning wouldnt accept cash for our coffee and when my card wouldnt work came to taxi to demand the £3 for the payment , the people sharing our taxi were very helpfull and made payment for us.
