Rural Oasis”
A bit off the beaten track, Bangsring Breeze (BB) is a homey and comfortable property sited in the midst of a local kampung (village). It is a rural oasis for those seeking a quiet and laid back holiday. One is fully immersed in the kampung atmosphere with the regular prayer calls from surrounding mosques and villagers going about their daily lives just outside the hotel. The friendly and attentive staff are all from the surrounding area and genuinely did their best to attend to us. The property has clean, well furnished large rooms and a nice dining room that serves a mix of local and international food - all of which are quite well prepared. Beside going to Pulau Tabuhan, we explored the surrounding area on complimentary bicycles and climbed Mount Ijen. There are other activities/tours one could book via the Manager, pak Bundan. All-in we had a enjoyable stay at BB.

It is just perfect - from the day we booked, Jeroen and Aji ensured we are well informed of the resorts and available excursion, incredibly accommodating and genuinely caring. Staffs are amazing! Food is delicious and the physical resort itself cannot be fault. Will surely come back.

Hidden gem”
We stayed at Bangsring Breeze one night while we climbed mount Ijen but wish we had stayed longer. The hotel has only 5 rooms / villas and the staff was so nice and attentive that we felt very special. Let's not forget the chef and his assistant who made amazing indonesian food. This is my new favourite getaway place to get peace and relaxation and i hope to go back soon. I almost want to keep it a secret but i must give it a public review so this place gets the recognition it deserves. Thank you Tanti and Aji for being great hosts

Very pleasant design hotel with good service”
We stayed for two nights, using the hotel as a base for visiting nearby Kawah Ijen. The hotel is conveniently located 15 minutes away from the Bali ferry terminal and the Surabaya train station (Banyuwangi Bari). We stayed in a spacious garden bungalow with a large bed - and enjoyed views over the hotel gardens. The bungalow had an unusual but very nice outdoor bathroom behind the room itself and entirely private. The staff was pleasant and helpful with all our enqueries and organized day-tours for us which we could pay through the hotel. We were picked up at the ferry terminal and dropped off at the train station for free. They were also attentive and provided efficient service at mealtimes. The food was good and ample and they also offered food for take-away during day outings from the hotel. The location of the hotel is on a hilltop with views both towards the Bali Strait and the mountains. A pool with sun-loungers is set in the middle of the gardens and is large enough for swimming. The drive to the starting point of the Kawah Ijen walk is about 2 hrs during day-time - probably less in the early morning/night. It was a scenic and interesting drive and we would not hesitate to recommend this as a base for other visitors to the Kawah Ijen. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

petit hôtel de 5 chambres. Nous nous y sentons pas comme à l'hôtel mais comme chez des amis. Personnel adorable, extraordinairement serviable, cherchant par tout moyen à vous faire plaisir. Décoration magnifique. Vaut bien mieux que les 2 étoiles affichées sur le site. Super massage par les femmes du village à 100 000 IDR pour 90 mn. Et assurance que cela va dans leur poche. Il faut savoir que l'hôtel est à 30 mn de la ville. Mais ce n'est pas un problème: quand on y est on n'a pas envie d'en partir et le personnel ira vous chercher ou vous raccompagner lors de votre arrivée et votre départ.

Alles ist toll hier, Personal sind nett aber es gibt keine Platz für Massage, so die nette Frau sollte ihre Matratze selbst mitbringen zu unserem Zimmer... Es gibt kein Sandal im Zimmer aber es löhnt sich noch da die Leute sind nett. Ich komme wieder bestimmt..
