Value for money”
Near to the train stations L1, L2 amd R1/R2. Direct train shd be avail from airport T2 to El Colt via R2. It was under upgrading during our trip hence we have to transfer at Sants. We bought T-causal for 10 trips at £7.95 and used it on the trip to and fro airport. Kitchen on 2md floor for own cooking and common fridge for storage. It is pretty well maintained. Each bed comes with own light. It has an UK plug and European 2 pin plugs. There is a card activated locker in the room.

Nice hostel, a bit far away from city center, but close to public transport. Bathrooms are in every room, common kitchen, 24-hour reception.

This is a very vibrant city with lots of life.”
It's one of the best hostels I've ever statyed in Spain. It's economic and modern. Staff are very friendly and helpful; Breakfast is really great that you can stuff yourself with yum food; The use of electric room key is very convenient and safe; The bed is very cozy; Electric plugs are available in two styles - very convenient to backpackers all around the world; Washroom is great and well-designed (though there might be a bit of water leakage from the ceiling to the standing tub); Wifi is super-fast which allows me to use laptops in the room as well; The view is magnificent; Very close to Metro station (allow us to have nightlife in city centre!); Very calm and quiet at night, you won't be disturbed by the noise in the street... I love Barcelona Urbany Hostel!

wonderful and safe hostel”
The breakfast buffet was excellent. Everything was fresh, hot. Drinks are unlimited. Rooms are clean. The beds were comfortable. The scenery is beautiful. Walking distance to Sagrada Familia is only 1km. If I go back to Barcelona, I will definitely stay at this hostel. Reception friends were very helpful and friendly. Thank you so much everything.

Nice place to stay in the city”
I loved that each bed has its own light, as well as outlet to charge your electronics. Lockers are also provided which can be accessed by a card thus keeping your valuables safe wherever you are. There is also an elevator so no worries if you travel with a large suitcase. The staff are very approachable. If you paid for breakfast, well, it is what it is. Don’t expect something fancy. The place is near a metro, as well as a mall if you need stuff you forgot to pack for your trip. The place is also clean. Overall, wonderful stay. Will stay here again if I’m back in Barcelona.

Worth Your Money”
Amazing facilities for the rates you pay. Even more amazing are the staff. Location’s definitely not bad, just a stone’s throw away from Clot station of the Barcelona Metro red line. Will recommend!

Very good”
I was there for 2 weeks. Hostel has good kitchen with some refrigerators and plastic containers where it is possible to keep personal food. And also it has very nice cafe with large inside and outside space. Internet is everywhere. I was totally satisfied.

It's Okay”
This hostel was convenient arriving from the airport. But as a traveller looking to enjoy Barcelona for a few days, this wasn't my favorite location. Also they had a lot of events to help people meet each other, but no one seemed to attend them? Maybe it's different every week and I was visiting at the wrong time (winter). Overall it's fine, but I think there are better hostels.

Hotel staff is very cool and friendly. Delicious breakfast! The room is very clean and well kept clean for the 3 nights of checking in. Apparently, we can hear the noise and chit chats from the room beside us. One night, 1 group knocked to our door and surprisingly they have the same room number with us?! Overall, our entire stay was great!

Great Experience”
It was initially hard finding the place but it’s a good hostel option for solo travelers. From the airport, I took the A1 bus and got off Placa Catalunya. Took the Metro to Clot. From there, it’s an easy walk to BUH.

good location”
it is quiet new. the beds are comfortable and my roomates were quiet at night, lucky. the environment is also clean. staff were helpful and keen at telling me where to go and how to get the good food. i could walk to the beach within 20 minutes directly from the street just beside of the hostel, and not more than 3 minutes to the metro station.

Decent hostel, but frustrating experience”
The hostel itself was a very comfortable dorm room. Beds were comfy and each bed had an individual lamp, shelf and plug. They have a key system that allows your key to lock your locker and each bed is designated a locker, which is a good size for storing your things. I paid through Agoda on the same day, and there was a lot of hassle about the charge being pending, even though I showed them my confirmation that said paid in full. They were slightly frustrating and difficult to deal with on this point. They also require a €10 cash deposit which I didn't have for the key. I understand that the keys were electrically attached to the lockers, and likely expensive to replace, or a security issue, but I didn't have the €10 on me. I was only staying for one night (actually I arrive around 10pm and was leaving the next morning at 8am for a tour/switching to a hotel I booked using points), and I offered my passport or credit card to hold instead. The only ATM in the area charges a €5 service fee (it's not an actual bank I don't think, it was the only establishment I encountered with that kind of fee for using an ATM in the city). Eventually they allowed me to leave my passport, but I was treated very much like a irresponsible partying backpacker, versus understanding the situation and seeing what could be done. I completely understand that people would walk off with keys without some kind of deposit, but it was a very frustrating experience at 10pm when I was dead tired from exploring.

All round awesome hostel”
My stay here was awesome! The rooms were very clean and tidy, with a powerpoint at each bed. There were lockers to store your valuables. There were awesome facilities, such as kitchen, laundry and even a bar with an outdoor terrace. The hosted pub crawls and had actives most nights, one included a free paella night! I met so many cool people, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Good for very young travelers”
stayed in different parts of barcelona and this was just okay. i'm 25 and felt the crowd was too much like hs. if that's your age range, this is perfect, but there are better hostels in town, with the same budget, in a better location.
