This hotel, which is made up of a modern and a traditional building, is situated in the wine-producing district of Olewig, just a few minutes’ drive from Trier city centre. It offers two restaurants, free parking and free WiFi. The Becker’s Hotel & Restaurant offers rooms and suites with a modern design. Get your day off to a good start select from our breakfast menu dishes with different prices for each dish. Sparkling wine can be ordered with an additional charge. Designzimmer oder "gute Stube"?”

nahe an den Weinbergen in einem ruhigen Stadtteil

Personal ging auf Änderungswünsche problemlos ein (wir wollten keine "deutsche Eiche", sondern ein Designzimmer). Umzug wurde vom Personal übernommen. Chefin des Hauses war umfreundlich, ein Lächeln war nie zu sehen. Dadurch wurden die freundlichen jungen Mitarbeiter noch mehr hervorgehoben.

2 sterren restaurant en ruime kamer in hotel

kamers aan voorkant liggen te dicht aan de straat

Het hotel beschikt over 2 gebouwen: een in puur Duitse stijl gebouwde herberg met dito restaurant en een nieuw design-achtig hotel met dito kamers. De design kamers zijn mooi en strak. Niets overbodigs. Wel wat sober: in vergelijkbare hotels tref je meestal een waterkokertje plus thee en koffie aan. Hier niet. Ook ontbraken in de badkamer de nodige accessoires die andere hotels in deze prijsklasse wel leveren: shampoo's, badmuts enz. Onze kamer lag direct aan een weliswaar rustige maar toch doorgaande weg hetgeen geluidshinder veroorzaakt. De service is fantastisch, zeer vriendelijk en klantvriendelijk personeel. Maar waar het in Becker's uiteindelijk om draait is de keuken! Het restaurant is door Michelin met 2 sterren bekroond en terecht. Helaas was dit speciale restaurant volgeboekt maar de restaurants in het oude gedeelte en de Weinbar in het design gedeelte worden door dezelfde keuken voorzien. We hebben er 2 avonden gedineerd en het is onovertroffen!! De open wijnen van eigen weingut zijn ook voortreffelijk. Een reden om naar Trier te gaan!!Trier zelf is ook meer dan de moeite waard met de Porta Nigra, en veel meer bezienswaardigheden.
