Awesome location and lovely flat”
One of architecture designs that I fancied was separating the toilet from the bathroom. Actually, there were 2 rooms: the one was a toilet (with the thermostat and a washing machine), the other, a bathroom (with a huge mirror, a radiator and a bathtub). The heater was slightly uncontrollable and those 3 locks on our door were tricky for both of us, 2 single females. I wanted to amend the temperature to 25ºC, yet it solely maintained 23.5ºC. Hence, I suggested you bringing one sweater or cardigan with you even in spring as we lived here in April. For 2 single females, the locks were essential with regard to security. Therefore, you might just need time to figure out these locks. Moreover, there were some equipment in the kitchen such as, a fridge, an oven, a frying pan, a saucepan, a casserole dish, 2 mixing bowls, a kettle, a corkscrew, a kitchen knife, knifes, a wooden spoon, tablespoons, forks, cups, side plates, dinner plates, etc. (There was no microwave, but you can use it in the reception of Boomerang Hostel.) You might find a DVD/VCD player in the living room. (Not using this equipment, I am not sure what it was.) Accordingly, the flat could be a lovely venue for hosting house parties if you meet some new mates in Budapest.

Great Location and lovely hostel”
The hostel is very quiet, just 1 minute away from the metro station and is very close to the main attraction in Budapest. The room is very spacious for 4 person, with a sofa and desk for in room used. There is also a good price supermarket nearby, about 5 minutes walk. The kitchen is the best, well equiped and had all the utensils that needed. I love it so much. They even provide free laundry to min stay of 3 nights and it is just excellent. The hostel staffs are also super friendly and provide all the information needed for the city. They are also so kind that even after check out, they still allow me to take a shower and it is just extra points for traveller who is taking late night departure.

Great visit to a great city!”
my first stay at a hostel, but definitely not my last. the staff was great in every way, the hostel was very close to the inner city, but yet in a very quiet street. everything was clean and the breakfast was okay for the price (included in a low price). free wifi which worked fine, and two computers with internet which we could use for free in the lobby. they helped me with a ride to the airport at 4.00 am, which costed 4500 forint (about €16). in the room there was four beds, two couches, a table, and everyone had there own cabinet with a lock.

Boomerang staff were very friendly, the apartment was not in the main hostal building (which meant no free wi-fi access) but it was less than 5 minutes walk to the Opera house, really central. It was a bit noisy but cannot really complain given the excellent location. Apartment itself was fairly big (separate kitchen) although it was a bit dated but clean. Would recommended it - value for money!

The room is very big, with inside a kitchen but not a bathroom (for all the floors, there are a toilet and another room with the bath). The breakfast is ok: tea, coffee, bread, butter, marmelade, breakfast cereals. The hostel is in the city center, near a street full of discos and pubs and a lot of Gyros's restaurant. The pleace is very quiet: no background noise.

the staff were very helpful and nice. when i arrive, they just give me a free map and tell me the must vist sights... very good hostel and the location is also very good, 3 minuates away from the metro...most importantly, it is very quiet, if you like quietness in the journey like me...just choose it!

Okay value for money”
Hostel is in a central location and easy to get to. Kinda looks a it dodge when you come out of the train station though. Fancy restaurants just two streets down. The front door is always locked so push number 11 on the buzzer. The staff were really friendly, but that's about it. The breakfast was very basic. The showers are unisex so kinda awkward. Only one toilet per gender on the floor and if you happen to be on the 2nd floor near reception, they do have their music going quite loud until about midnight when they go to their after hours staff room. Not really great for light sleepers. The towel in the toilet to dry your hands hadn't been changed till at least 3 days after we got there. Overall I would say if you are budget conscience go, but if you can afford to, then maybe check elsewhere first.

I booked a 4 people room and was lucky that I was the only one there. The room was huge with a locker for each person with a lock. There was only 1 toilet for female and 2 co-Ed showers for the whole floor though. Free breakfast was a bonus.

It was the first hostel I went to in a while, it was good in general just beware that you will have to climb some stairs, which isn´t always as handy with a backpack. Still I would consider going back.

the apartment is not in the hotel main building, so there is no wifi and you have to borrow a wireless router from the front desk. and the room is very close to clubs. But the room is large and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Location, Piecefull”
We booked for a studio room. Very spacious along with basic kitchen ware. The bed is ok but the pillow very very soft. We preferred medium firm. Most of the furniture are very very old. The internet service which include in the room, was the worst service ever. Very disappointing as its essential for our long trip in europe.
