We had a pleasant stay at Borobudur Village Inn. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. It's a bit of a walk from Borobudur temple but beca or ojek are available, or you can hire a bicycle. The owner is really friendly and helpful. Its very close to a restaurant call Pandan Wangi that serves mushroom as its specialties.

Simple, clean rooms near temple”

The rooms at this inn are basic but clean. The owners speak excellent English and were very helpful in arranging a sunrise visit to Candi Borobudur and in offering suggestions for a self-guided walking tour of the area including visits to Candi Mendut and Candi Pawon. The on-site restaurant is similarly simple but good. The inn is about 1 km from the main entrance to Candi Borobudur, an easy walk in daylight. The room had air-con, although a fan would have been perfectly comfortable. It needed a mosquito net (screens were not perfect) and some clothes hooks.

Pro: Clean and comfortable room Nice breakfast with delicious fried rice, excellent pure mango juice Staff are very helpful, they serve food until in front of our room, they also help us to rent a motorbike. There is a nice restaurant called Pandan Wangi selling nice food just behind the hotel. Cons -Need to put a clear signage to guide the guest from borobudur to the hotel, as the map from agoda and google maps are not exactly correct. -Distance about 2km from borobudur area, so is too far to walk from borobudur to the hotel.

Cozy with friendliness staff ”

Totally feel like staying at home! The Owner and their staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is quite far for walking to Borobudur but they have a bicycle (if you wish) and it's free of charge! Nothing much restaurant that i have found but there has one hawker selling 'Tahu Goreng' (Fried Tofu) and it's superb and yummy! I think this cozy place is suit for a person who like to stay in the calm and make it feel like home :)

Friendly, temple,discovery”

Friendly and talkative staff, they even collect my bagage which was lost during my flight at the airport. Good visit of the temple early morning thanks to free drop off by hotel staff. They also lend me a bike to visit the aera. Calm hotel away from central noise et crowd

Near Borobudur temple”

Staff were friendly. We left for Borobudur before breakfast and came back later. They made us breakfast when we came back which turned out to be more like lunch for us, since it was about lunch time. Staff are accommodating. One problem is the water heating system. The heaters are gas fired. When the fire is on, the water is super hot. When the temperature is lowered slightly, the fire goes off. Then the water becomes cold as there is no heating. No intermediate temperature, only super hot or super cold. We switched rooms because of this but the second room was no different. This seriously needs to be fixed.

Worth the money”

Very friendly staff and owner. They give you a piece of paper with recommendations on places to visit. Toiletries and towels are provided. Breakfast is ok. You can borrow their bike and explore surrounding areas on your own. They also gave me a free ride to where I needed to go after checkout. Will stay here again.

we only stay for 1 night, the breakfast was so tasty and the staff really helpful and friendly but the location is quite hard to find, the gmaps pointed us to wrong property and we have to ask the other residents to get there

Great base for Borobudur temple”

This place is charming and owners are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. It's about 20 min slow walking to the temple but you can't get lost - you walk along the temple wall until you reach the entrance.

New tidy room, but far from the temple ”

It was a small guesthouse with only 4 rooms. The room with air-conditioner was tidy and clean, but smallish. You should ride a Becak to reach there, because it was about 2 km or more away from the bus station and about 1 km from the parking of the temple. There were free bicycle but some were poor condition. We went to the temple very early morning without having breakfast. After we came back almost noon, the staff served "breakfast" for us. It was a nice service!

2 Nights at Borobadur”

Very pleasant. We used the offered early morning tour of the temple which included a free lift down to the temple and then hired a couple of bikes and explored. We eat a nice breakfast each day and one evening meal which was nice and one evening went to a restaurant round the corner which was also good value.

Gute Lage und super rundum Service ”

Das Hotel bietet einen Abholungsservice vom Flughafen, den wir gerne in Anspruch nahmen, da wir sehr spät ankamen. Dieser kostet 250.000 idr und ist relativ teuer. Allerdings war es wie gesagt sehr sehr spät. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage nur 10 min laufweg vom Tempel entfernt. Das Frühstück war super und der Gastgeber hilft einem in allen Fragen weiter. Es ist ein kleines Familienhotel und hat nur 4 Zimmer. Als einzige Gäste fühlten wir uns daher sehr gut umsorgt.

Un albergo gestito in modo amichevole e familiare. Lo staff è sempre disponibile e cerca sempre di accontentare il cliente. La cucina familiare è molto buona.. che dire di più?
