Great stay good for night sleep only”
Had a great time staying in this capsule my first time in Japan and I chose Sapporo Hokkaido the place to spend my travel alone and this place exceeded my expectations.. Stayed here for 7nights and all I can say is the place was so clean although you just need to stay away the capsule from 10am-1pm because that’s their time for cleaning the whole place. Sapporo capsule inn is for men only. The place is near to all and is the center of the city.. susukino stn. Just take exit 1 and you can see kfc just walk on the opposite side and you can see the sliding door just a small name of the Sapporo capsule inn on that sliding door..staff will help you and can speak conversational English. Almost all of the facilities you need is already there. No need to bring your own toiletries in there they have it. Towels and bath robe change each time you used the shower onsen bath jacussi and sauna.. free breakfast everyday to choose from Mcdo sukiya and mister donut. Very cheap and affordable rate.. definitely I will be back..

comfortable”
it was my first experience staying in a capsule hotel. Surprisingly it is quite comfortable. Very good value too compare to all other 4 hotels that I stayed in Sapporo. The only complaint I have is the smoking lounge, which is adjacent to the sleeping room. Though there is a glass door separates the two, I woke up the next morning with sore throat and my shirt and kimono smell of cigarette. They shouldn't allowed them to smoke in an enclosed building. The air ventilation circulates the whole building with cigarette smell.

Pro & Cons.”
If you want to enjoy Japanese Capsule experience, go for this but be aware of these: 1) No sound proof. You can hear all sorts of sounds and I can't sleep well. 2) Minimum English speaking. 3) No shower room. You have to shower at lvl 7, at the Onsen shower facility where all other men will go for onsen. If you are not comfortable with this, do not opt for this place. 4) Big luggage has to be put at entrance. Just bring essential small travel bag to lockers upstairs. If not you have to go up and down and let people see what you packing. 5) Nice check in time 1pm, check out 10am. 6) Breakfast is a 3 choice of 200 yen off from McD or other 2 choices, which I did not choose. But lots of other choices nearby anyway. 7) Centre of Susukino, but you have to walk around 20 mins from Sapporo Station. Just behind KFC & beside 王将 ramen shop. 8) CCTV everywhere so do not expect privacy except toilet and your own capsule room. 9) ENJOY!

Great location but small rooms”
i had one night in the capsule inn - and was pleasabtly impressed. the 'beds' are fairly spacious and it was quiet. the spa facilities were excellent. the location was good to find late at night when i arrived in sapporo by train - a quick ride on the metro. the susikino area is very brash and bright, but the inn is off the main thoroughfare so noise was not a problem. sapporo itself is well worth exploring - i recommend the botanic gardens

Interesting Concept on Budget Lodging”
Capsule hotels are not a new concept in Asia or Japan. But, if you are a westerner and want to experience this type of very low budget accommodation I can highly recommend it. It might not be for everyone but it is unique, safe, clean and very reasonable. This establishment had friendly staff that could speak some English and had all instructions already printed in English for assistance. They get numerous foreign travelers so you won't feel out of place. The only down point is that at night, if you are unfortunate enough to have a capsule near someone that snores, as I did, it can be a bit distracting. But, I just laughed about it and soon it didn't bother me at all. Highly recommended.

great location - right beside subway station exit.”
i stayed at this hotel for three nights. the location is ideal right next door to the susukino subway station (exit 1 and turn right after the kfc into the side street)and only two stops from the jr sapporo main railway station on the nanboku line. the hotel is very clean and well run with extremely helpful staff who just speak very limited english.

What you would expect from a capsule hotel”
If you are staying at a capsule hotel, odds are that your only expectation is just having somewhere to sleep. Capsule Inn Sapporo definitely provides that, with perhaps even a little bit more space than usual. Only problem was that the tv and alarm clock in my capsule didn't work, but I had my phone which was able to do the job instead. All in all, this place is what you would expect from a capsule hotel and was clean.

First stay in a capsule hotel”
Began my travels in Japan in Sapporo with this being the first place I stayed and it was really cool. Things you should be aware of, while the staff are very friendly and helpful, their English is not so strong. However, they do provide you with an English printout of hotel instructions etc. Also, be aware that you have to leave the hotel every morning before 10am or will incur a ¥1000 or so charge. Highly recommended though.

Recommend with limitatios”
Wanted to try a capsule for one night, although I was staying in a hotel in Tokyo. Came to Sapporo for an overnight trip and gave it a try as an experience. Capsule hotels seems a good idea if you are on the budget. Can’t compare with other capsules, for, this is my first trial. Capsule Inn is just OK. Clean capsule, but with a bit of cigarette smell. The shower had only 6 stalls. Luckily it was not busy and there was no waiting. Basic hot tub and sauna. Facilities is old. I had seen other capsules online but since this was a last minute adventure, we choose this one. If capsules are you thing, look elsewhere, there is got to be a more modern ones. The staff was ok, didn’t expect much of them Anyway.

Best inn in Sapporo for solo traveler”
All facilities are satisfactory especially the manga corner and sauna in bathing area. You can also choose three kinds of breakfast including Japanese or Western style. The only disadvantage is the weak wifi signal inside the capsule which might be crucial for some travelers.

I would definately come back!”
This is my first capsule hotel and I found it quite interesting. It is quiet and the staff is nice. Most of the people who stay there was Japenese working people tho so they know how to respect people in the capsule hall. Good location, near mcd (if you are a mcd lover).

It's great if you just need a place to sleep”
The place was very cheap, well located, and suitable place if you just need a place to crash, but if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, I would not recommend staying there. Even though there are non-smoking areas, smoke seems to ever so slightly pervade every floor of the building. I found after 3 nights I was waking up with a sore throat. The communal bath was pretty awesome, after a long day of sightseeing, it was great to sit and soak for a while in the hot water. In terms of location, there were lots of places to eat just outside, with the entrance to the subway also just outside the hotel doors. Susukino subway station is connected via underground walk to Odori and Sapporo stations, with lots of places to eat and shopping. We were there for the snow festival. The Susukino site was just around the corner to the hotel, the Odori site is one subway stop away, and due to the underground walk, you can reach it in only a few minutes without having to expose yourself to the cold. If the slight smell of smoke isn't an issue, then definitely check this place out!

Above average”
In general, I would not recommend capsule hotels if one were not on a tight budget. The thing that disappointed me with Capsule Sapporo is its location. I booked it because the online maps told me it is just 7 minutes walk to the JR Sapporo station. It is much, much farther than that. I was carrying some heavy stuff and, arriving at a late night hour from a nine-hour Tokyo trip, I thought it would be a short walk to much awaited respite. None of that. Unlike most inns, the staff were pointedly cold and unfriendly. Coupled with the usual inconveniences of capsules, the hardest of which was clearing out your capsule every morning so it can get cleaned Sapporo Inn is near Odori Park, which is one consolation. You could also take a tram just a short distance away.

good location, low price”
if you can get lowest price reservation, you are lucky. this hotel location is best for drinking at SUSUKINO and shopping around SAPPORO-downtown.

Great place for a great price!”
I believe I booked this place during a time when they were giving discounts for a limited time and I had gotten the last room! Not too far of a walk from Sapporo station and the complimentary free breakfast was nice! Definitely will consider this place in the future

Good alternative to a hostel dorm”
I ended up in this Capsule hotel due to Sapporo being fully booked on a long weekend. Im not usually one for shared accommodation but this hotel was good as far as this style of accommmodation goes. Very clean, well located, good service and facilites at a fair price. If I had a choice of this over hostel dorm style accommodation, I would definately chose this.

Retro Capsule”
This place is like what they thought going into space would be like in the 1970s. A capsule with tv screen and various buttons, replete with brown & yellow carpet door. Sadly there are no proper showers, just an Onsen on the top floor. But otherwise the location is good and the price ain’t too bad.
