Perfect Location ”
Great location with helpful and friendly staff. The food was great too! We love the room service and cleaning everyday. The hotel is located in the center of Barcelona and we were expecting of the noise from outside but we didn’t hear any noise because of it’s double wall glass that makes the hotel room sound proof. We’ll definitely go back in Spain and book at this hotel.

Great Location! Avoid Book Now, Pay Later if Possible!”
We booked this hotel for its location. Aerobus bus stops & Metro are just right in front of the hotel, making it convenient to travel around the city and airport. Everything was ok except one of the bed made creaking sound, which seemed like it was overwhelmed by human activities. If possible, avoid "Book Now,Pay Later" option as I ended up paying 6.5% more, as the price quoted varied due to exchange rate variation & fee.

A great hotel near Montjuic”
my wife and i stayed for 2 nights at catalonia barcelona plaza, and liked it so much we will stay there on the way back. the rooms were spacious and clean with a great bathroom, for 80 usd a night! the location is right on top of the catalunya metro stop, a 2 stop trip to las ramblas. we found great food without toursists in poble sec just next door, and i went running up montjuic twice. the downside is that even though its a non-smoking room, it did smell a little like smoke. we told the desk staff and they tried to switch rooms, but hey, it's spain, all the rooms smell like smoke. the pool is really nice, but pretty small, and the gym is non-existent, but we had a great time!

the hotel is very accessible for all you are looking for..if you arrived from airport just hop in aerobus and the first stop is placa espana where you can see the hotel just opposite the bus stop..not very posh hotel but clean ,big size bed.we were 3 persons travelling.we had one kingsize bed where my husband and i share and my friend had a single bed..everyday the room is being cleaned and towels and toiletries being replinished.on the roof top there is a tranquil swimming pool with a breathtaking view of muntjiec or the national art museum where you can witnessed the magic fountain at night..they say magic fountain operates from thursday night til sunday.the hote is near to mall,restaurants,supermarket,and the tour bus which is very convenient for us tourist to see barcelona

We were more than happy with this hotel and we have been to Barcelona a few times now. The metro is right outside the door and/or you can walk to some of the attractions. Taxis were outside the hotel 24/7 and also the bus stops to get into the centre or airport were located just across the road. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooftop terrace bar and swimming pool are a great bonus and certainly made our stay much nicer. Only disappointment was there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but the Spanish don't really do tea in the morning by tradition, that is an English thing! We did ask for a kettle though and got one but they didn't bring us any cups or tea bags, just the kettle! Breakfast was excellent too, all you could eat for €10. Definitely would stay here again.

my wife and i recently stayed at this hotel. it is well situated in placa espana and is right oppositeq a magnificent new shopping mall with restaurants and trendy shops. we were warmly received and found the rooms to be spotlessly clean, modern and adequately spacious. the new bathrooms were beautifully appointed and had toilets, bidet, bath and overhead showere. we had a wonderful breakfast the following day. other than the fact that it is not situated at las ramblas which is a short taxi or bus ride away, we thoroughly recommend this to any traveller visiting barcelona. we also had free wifi which worked perfectly in the rooms and lobby's.

The hotel is overall a good value, but despite it being stated they offered exercise facilities it turned out that they were quite small with limited equipment. The pool outdoors on the roof, however, was quite nice. The dining facilities were quite average, but there are a lot of dining options around Barcelona and the hotel's location is nice and also offers access to most of the other areas of the city as there is a subway station right outside the entrance to the hotel. Overall the quality of the stay was satisfactory.

Excellent location. Across Plaza de Espana. Next to Plaza de Arenas shopping mall. Hop On, Hop On tourist bus and train to Montserrat just across the street. Walking distance or short bus,train ride to most everything - Plaza Cibeles, Sagrada Famignia, Las Ramblas, etc. Hotel provided in-room Nespresso machine ... nice !

Wonderful stay and right in the heart of the city. We only stayed for one night but it was great since the room is quite big. They will offer you an option to book a room in front with free water and a cookie so that you can view the fountain show at night (in front of the hotel) for about 10 euros but we felt we don't need it because you can just go out and see it for free. The hotel is right smack in plaza espanya so handy for stops on both bus and metro.

Great location, spacious room”
Hotel location is right in front of Plaza Espanya, 2 minutes walk from metro station. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel to catch a bus to and fro Barcelona El Prat Station. Hotel lobby is quite big and grand. Room size in particular is quite spacious. There is no complimentary drinking water bottles given though. Flat TV with international news channel, adequate for me.

The staff are nice. They tell you where to eat near the hotel. The location is great, you just need 5 mins walk to the street with loads of resturants and supermarket. The swimming pool is at the top floor. You can view the whole city of Barcelona without paying. The breakfast is very good. Parking is very convenient and it's under the hotel.

I will be booking again I loved it that much. The shopping centre next door, a old bull ring, has a amazing 360 degree view of Barcelona with some fantastic restaurants on the top. Loved every minute of it. Get the airport bus and it’s the first stop.

Conveniently located and clean:a good base”
I appreciated the desk staff; the staff I spoke to were quite fluent in three languages and were able to resolve a booking problem quickly and professionally. The rooms are very standard but they're large and comfortable. I have stayed here three times; the first time I complained about the cleanliness and did not think this hotel was good value for the price. However, that last two times I've been here the standards have improved considerable. This hotel is good value considering the very professional staff, the cleanliness and the location close to the air-porter bus and major metro routes. I will use this hotel again.

Ideally located near the magic fountain. Brilliant views of this from the 8th floor roof top pool/bar area. Lovely hotel, walking distance to metro. Tour, airport and public buses stop right outside so very convenient. Restaurants, cafes and shops close by. Very clean room and very comfortable. Everything you could hope for in this beautiful city. Would highly recommend this hotel and have no complaints at all.

Good location with easy access to Airport”
we have stayed in this hotel for one night after two weeks of travelling in spain, because we need to catch a flight back to asia the day after. so the location of the hotel is perfect since airport shuttle a1 stops right in front of the hotel and it will only take about 20 minutes to reach the airport. there is also a modern shopping mall, converted from the old bullfight rill, just across the street. metro station is also at the doorstep so it is very easy to go to the city center or any other parts of barcelona.

The hotel is located south west from Barcelona center. A metro station is available at just e few meters away, and taxis always wait for you at the enrance. Reception is a bit slow, but overall the hotel is nice. Many "places to see" close to this area, where your journey can start simply on foot
