Perfect Hotel for the price.. large rooms”
Rare for me to give full rating in every department to any hotel.. But only after staying here one can truly appreciate this place.. The location: is on the metro station next to all the happening restaurants Wifi is blistering fast.. The rooms (atleast mine) was quite large. Has a rustic charm.. felt like I am living in the 6oies.. Breakfast: Toaster was a miss.. was difficult for me... But that's picking needles in a haystack... Plz continue the good work..

Hotel is just few steps away from metro station. Room is clean and daily housekeeping is consistent. Nearby to many affordable restaurants. Although streets near Blaha Lujza station has some weird smell and can be quite noisy at night, overall this hotel room is great enough for the price paid.

The only good thing about this property is the location as it is right in the centre. You have to watch out for the main door as otherwise you will miss it! Housekeeping is done in the afternoons (when it's done) unlike other hotels. If it's done, they just change towels, arrange a bit the beds and wipe/flush the toilet. Not all rooms are equipped with a fridge as stated on their website and when promised a kettle, they gave me one without a lid. Our room had no wardrobe either so we had to scatter all our clothes for a whole week. Rooms are situated around a yard, so for breakfast you have to go out in this yard and down the stairs to the restaurant. I was assured that I could pay with my visa and in euros but then they said no. Although I still managed to pay with my visa they charged me with their currency. It is true that it is not a 5 star hotel but the basics are expected. I paid for services which I didn't get such as cleaning the room. It is such a pity. Never again!

Was assign a room on the same level as the reception and shower did not work. Was given a set of key and diy transfer to a smaller room and need to return the defect room key to the reception. After we moved to the upper level room, saw the guy receptionist went into the room and check. No apology at all. Hotel does not provide international plug. Very poor service. Will not stay again.

Very disappointing”
We were welcome by a staff member that was very slow to do the check in. Trying to get anything extra was complicate (towels, toilet paper.) they don’t keep any backup at the reception. Smile almost none. We get in the room, the shower was mold everywhere. On the last day of check out there was no water. However we could check out one hour later. That was fine.

Nice, cheap hotel to stay in Budapest!”
I went into Budapest with my girlfriend on January 2013. We booked one twin room in Centrooms Hotel and we found it to be a great value for money place (9euro per person per night). It's located just outside a subway station, you just walk outside of a subway and there you have a door that leads into building interior and Hotel facilities. Rooms are located on the ground floor and third floor and they have a lot of atmosphere due to very high ceilings. They are clean and warm, no bugs, one thing that you should buy before choosing room with windows outside the building are some ear plugs - outside it's quite busy place with buses and trams. You'll find free safe lockers inside big enough to put your big DLSR camera inside. There are some cheap shops with food, cafes and restaurants just around the corner so you wont have to look to far if you got hungry. Two things that pissed us a little bit were some workers assembling lights using drills on Saturday morning in 9AM and cons of hotel location just outside the subway entrance. We found out that some of Bulgarians treat building entrance as a great place to pee. But if you are used to cheap hotels you should be used to such things almost everywhere

A Really Good Deal”
I came at 10am and check-in was at 2pm, but I was allowed to leave my things and the receptionist gave me a visitor's guide and map of Budapest. The hotel was right at the Blaha Lujza ter station, and across the stop for Trams 4 and 6. When I checked into my room, I felt good about the deal that I got. It was small, but there's ample space and the high ceiling made it feel bigger. Overall, I'm so glad that I found this hotel on Agoda.

Comfortable and good location place”
It was a pleasant place to stay. The room is equipped with all necessary facilities you need. The location is very convenient as the metro is just a few steps away, which you can take it to the train station. The hotel is also surrounded by restaurants, fast food shops, coffee bar and supermarket. The only thing that might be problematic for light sleeper is the noise of siren and cars from the main street. But it didn’t bother me much so I think it’s bearable. Would recommend it to everyone.

The rooms were a lot bigger than expected so i had a very comfortable stay here. The hotel is in a very central location hence travelling around was a breeze. there are tons of shopping and restaurants around the hotel as well. the staff were very helpful and friendly and offered us maps and activities to do. highly recommend this hotel!

I arrived early in the evening. The entrance is a bit tricky, you may get confused to find it, especially if you expect a 19th century entrance. Room was very basic, I wouldn't say very confortable, but clean. Staff extremely friendly, location v. good with many options around for food , drinks, and transportation. I don't usually spend time at the hotel, so I don't mind about views, balconies, hotel areas, but if I would, there would be issues to consider. Price is very good, and communication with the hotel staff , prior and during my stay, excellent.

Nice quiet hotel”
Room was clean and was ready when I checked in. The TV wasnt working and the staffs dont know what to do with it. The hotel is currently having some renovation works, but they did a good job by keeping the noise down. I am able to sleep peacefully throughout my 3 nites there. I like the coffee vending machine that serves very nice coffee!!!!
