Appliances are a bit difficult to understand”
This is a very clean comfortable apartment but it is self-check-in and if you haven't stayed in places in Hungary before, It might be a little confusing to get in the front door and open all the doors to the apartment. Also if you aren't used to using a gas heater then turning on the heat might be a challenge as well. There is a manual in the drawer that will show you how to turn on the heat and use the washing machine. Other than that it is very well insulated against noise, but having mostly tile and being on the ground floor it was a bit on the cold side during the winter. The location is quite good for walking around and seeing the Fisherman's Bastian and the castle that isn't a castle. Just at the end of the block is a good coffee shop, Bloom Coffee, where they speak English. There is a Spar, a large grocery chain, they accept credit card within a few blocks of the apartment. And a few good restaurants.
