Nice acomodation but not really a hotel”
The hotel has a great location in between the city center of pest and the park with zoo and swimming pool. Around the corner is the terror museum in the old KGB head office. Public transport nearby (also tram 6 wich runs at night). The beds in hotel are ok, room is clean (you have to ask for cleaning otherwise they don't clean!). Breakfast is not included and is expensive (EUR 8) for Budapest. But near the hotel are many restaurants wich provide breakfast too. During our visit they were still building the hotel and in the morning there can be a lot of noise. Overall for the low price the hotel is okay.

Convenient & Safe”
Upon approach, this hotel may appear to in a questionable neighborhood, away from access to public transport. But to the contrary, City Center Guesthouse is perfectly located on a quiet street within 5 minutes walking from a main transit line. Furthermore, Hero's Square, the Museum of Fine Arts, and Széchenyi Thermal Bath are all within a pleasant 15-20 minute walk. The staff were wonderful and the fact that I could store my backpack between checking out and catching my bus later in the evening was icing on the cake. The walls may be a bit thin, but it's a clean, safe budget hotel - perfect for the weekend, solo traveler.

one of the best location in town”
i always stay in this hotel when i travel to budapest for a night out. I have friends to stay but i prefer to sleep here as its not expensive and its convinient. One of the best location in town, as its so close to Oktogon and Nyugati, metro line 1 and 3, tram 4-6 and westend. However is 2 streets away of the busy strt, so its quiet. Loads of restaurants and kebab eateries and coffes around too. The bathroom is shared but its just out of the room, its clean and never had to wait as there are sufficient number of them. Free wifi everywhere. The only thing i didnt like is some rooms are next to some offices and the walls are slim. Aslo have to look around before going to bathroom half naked as the corridors shared by these office workers too.

Great location and reall helpful staff”
I was travelling with a friend. The room was really big, totally clean. The location of the hotelis perfect. They give cards of the city and tr their best to help. The shared bathroom are really clean and can be lock. It was a really good stay and my friend decided to stay two more night because he was really happy of the hotel

The Hotel Management are great”
The hotel location is good for city center shops, transportation and facilities. The two receptionists are providing full support and cooperation with all guists. The Room is very clean and well organized. I recommend this hotel to all friends.

Great location,”
stayed here for one night and was very happy with it. for only 20 euros we got a very large room foe twoo with a very comfortable bed. the shared bathrooms were very clean. the hotel doesn't have any atmosphere at all and is really just a place to crash at the end of the day. in saying that, i found it a very comfortable place to crash! receptionist was very nice. she gave us good tips for the city.

nice hotel with good wifi”
The beds were comfortable and the wireless internet was strong in the room. We had a minor issue, with this place. We reserved a superior room which was suppose to cone with a refrigerator. When we got to the guest house we realized that they didn't have any such rooms, so we had to call agoda to get reimbursed for the difference. To clarify this guest house has no rooms with a frig or a kitchenette. It does have a good location and the price is right for Budapest.

It is a clean hotel located not too far from the center of Pest and near metro station. Despite the shared bathroom, it was clean and not overcrowded. The staff was helpfull. The only negative was that we had decided to stay one extra night but they wanted to charge us a lot more for the room than we did on online reservation

Perfect hostel for a short trip”
I like it very much. Near to the public transport. Staff was really friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom but it was not a problem because not so many people in one floor.

Good relation between price and quality”
the hotel is located in a privilege location, a few mint on foot to andrassy avenue and octogon. many beautiful places around the hotel as the opera. standard rooms, really good price and friendly staff.

Great place, Great price, Great people”
We stayed for two nights and we were glad to have a room with king sized bed with aircon during the summer time! Very comfortable. The toilets and showers have to be shared, but its clean and modern, so we were pleased with that. We did not have breakfast included but that wasn't a problem since we were close by the metro and restaurants.

Big rooms, great price, good location”
We've visited Budapest during very hot summer weekend. We got our room just under the steel roof which made the room hot like hell. The staff wasnt providing any fans so during the day we jus couldnt stay there.

Helpful staff, a bit hard to find”
This place was good value for what we paid. Clean room and bathrooms, although one bathroom on our floor didn't have any lights. The location was okay, but a little difficult to find.
