Where to stay in City Center
City Center hotels & accommodations

Pros: - Central Location, easy to get anywhere in the city - Very good staff, helped with printing some tickets for an event for me, and were friendly on check in/out - Good facilities - used pool and sauna, both small but weren't busy when I used twice. Room facilities very good with kitchenette, washing machine etc. Cons - Attention to detail - under bed was incred...

I chose this hotel for its location in the city center of hamburg. It didnt disappoint here. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Fitness center and spa were nice even though the pool was not made for serious swimming. The breakfast was rich and choices were plenty. I found the price of 29 EUR for one person for the breakfast buffet a little too high by Ge...

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the major areas of the city, and is also a quick cab ride from the airport. The facilities are very nice and while the gym is not large, it is still possible to get good exercise there. The rooms are well-designed with a nice apartment feel and even include kitchens for those who want to prepare their own food. T...

Was a very pleasant stay with possibility for activities and shopping in walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself has small rooms but all is very clean, good quality and high standards. Perfect for prolonged weekend trip to Hamburg city center.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and was extremly satisfied with the hotel. The hotel is located close to both the harbour, st. Pauli and city centre. The staff is friendly and breakfast was good. We had a business lounge studio which offered good space for a small family of three. I sent my recommendations regarding this hotel.

I have stayed here a couple of times for the purpous of enjoy Hamburg. Especally for Christmas market in December, this is the best choice. Very friendly staff, nice bar and very good breakfast facilities. Walking distance to the shopping area and to a lot of restaurants. Parking the car in the garage downstairs, but it's sometimes tricky to find the way there....

the hotel itself is very simple with small rooms and not many frills. it is a little disappointing that there are no fitness facilities or sauna given that neighboring hotels such as the lindner and adina all have such facilities. however, the hotel is a very good value and the rates seldom fluctuate. the staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are always very com...

Great location about 2mins from subway, 7-8mins from S tog, basically get to all sightseeing spot less than 20 mins. (Usually less than 10 mins.) Lots of restaurants and cafes around here. The hotel is kind of old (my lamp and tv don't working) but really clean. The employees here are nice. The price is so good at this location I have nothing to complain.

Our stay in the Renaissance Hamburg was OK. The hotel is honestly fine. It's not 5-star by any stretch of the imagination, in any city or situation. Even the hotel exterior has the rating down as 4-star, as far as I recall. Regardless, set your expectations for a 4-star experience. Staff and public areas are fine. Location of the hotel is tough to beat, very clos...

Hotel was beautiful, at a great locations with many quaint retail and F&B outlets within walking distance. View or the river was fantastic. The cafe and grill were superb. Nikkei Nine highly overated. Service was inconsistent - impeccable with some and slightly snooty and not bothered with some. My spa booking which i made months in advance was confirmed yet upon ar...

The hotel was managed by a Chinese Family and they were very friendly. The hotel room was clean, the hotel was located in the middle of the city and it was walking distance to restaurants and bars and also the train station. A very convenient place to stay.

Excellent hotel and great value. Location really good just a short walk from the city Center. Rooms very comfertable studio with kitchen facility's so could make my own food and ear at my own convenience, local stores and supermarket just across the road along with a good selection of nice resteraunt. Overlooked by St Michaels church a very impressive place! Would defi...

Pros: 1. 3 min. walk from the Train station and very close to the town hall, main shopping area. 2. Lots of restaurants and cafes around the apartment. 3. The room we stayed face the inner courtyard, thus very quiet and peaceful. 4. Free coffee powder, tea bags and laundry detergents. Cons: 1. The washing/dryer machine acted weirdly. We rinsed the clothes with a spin...
