Great small hotel, perfectly placed in the centre of Bamberg, only two minutes walk from historical places of interest, comfortable room and bed, excellent breakfast and very clean.

A good choice if you value the easy access to the old part of town but don't plan on spending too much time at the hotel. The staff is friendly but a bit hard to get hold of for check-in and check-out

we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment (sofa bed in the living room) for 2 nights. The hotel is 2.4km from Bamberg hbf (10min by bus) and you will open the hotel door with entry code sent by e-mail before arrival. I had a very enjoyable stay at the Welcome Kongress Hotel in Bamberg. I found the staff to be very helpful to tweak around the reservation to suit my flexible travel schedule. The rooms where very clean and where equipped with comfortable beds. It is only a short stroll into town and makes it a convenient hotel for both business travelers and city tourists.

Great location, near the metro station. Value for money especially given that breakfast is included. Clean and tidy.

my friend and me stayed in this hotel for 3 days. the hotel is not exactly located in the city centre and it takes around 15 mins walking to the city centre, not so far.. and the room is so big, include two floors, great! the only minor comment is the breakfast, but maybe i am asian so i didn't like it...

Bamberg is such an amazing city and this hotel fits in perfectly! It has amazing views of the river and has a really nice design. It is located right in the centre and is a 5 minute walk to everything. I highly reccomend this hotel!

Very clean. Parking space is very limited. Although we were told we would have a free parking space, when we arrived at around 7pm, no parking space left for us.

So sad what surly staff and poor service have done to this lovely period gem. The elevator did not function throughout the period of our five night stay - not in itself a problem, as these things happen - but inquiries and to when it would be fixed were met with postal worker stares and shrugs of resignation. Great location, minutes from bus, taxi, public parking 10E, and the historic district. Friendly hotel staff, excellent breakfast 7E (extra). Modern rooms in an old building. Bed mattress was not as comfortable as could be. I would stay here again without hesitation. This as an excellent deal.

A bit pricey but nicely designed and in the heart of Bamberg. The only shortcoming worth mentioning are the hordes of totally drunk people (mainly students) brawling through the street in front of the hotel during the whole night during the weekends (some pubs around the corner).

booked this lovely little hotel for one night in June 2012 but did think it would be as far from the Bamberg railway station as it was On the plus side , it was only a 20 minute picturesque walk to the absolutely beautiful old town Bamberg.

A place not to go. Not worth for the money

Located right in the middle of all the attractions within walking distance. This a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Bamberg’s picturesque old town. 1 min walk to the most photographed sites. Lots of shopping, restaurants, cafe sitting nearby. Breakfast is great. Room comfortable and clean. Bamberg is one of the most stunnngly beautiful cities I have been to in Europe. Highly recommend Hotel Weirach as a base to explore the city.

We had a one-day stay to visit Bamberg. We arrived early before noon and could occupy our room, which was unusual and very nice. Then parked the car inn safery and took a bus to the city center. The bus comes regularly (twice in an hour) and the stop is just in front of the hotel. The city is very nice, we walked a lot.

Large room , good service , good location , you can go around city by walking

I love this small modern hotel which is closed to the old town. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area. I parked the car at the side street which is a meter pay car park. The hotel is newly refurbished.

This was a great little apartment, walking distance to everything. While we were there it was extremely hot but our room was nice and cool. It was great to have a full kitchen and there was a supermarket right next door.Bamberg is a great little city to spend a few days. We enjoyed two nights at Monello Apartments. The beds were so comfortable. The location extremely quiet.
