The Hotel is not directly in the center, but still near to it with good connections to the center as well as to the airport and the port. One of the highlits is the terrasse with a fantastic view over the Barcelona. The staff is very professional and friendly. We would any time come back and can we can really recommend to stay in this hotel. Thank you for the good service. "

"The hotel is faraway to be 4 stars classification. May be 3 stars is more realistic. Everything is old and not very well maintened. Breakfast is good, pretty diverse but you'll find the same menu every morning. I think with the same budget, they can change menu at least once at 2 or 3 days. Some of the staff was not very friendly."

"I love the neighbourhood Hotel Golden Tulip is located at. It is quiet yet it felt safe to be there. A couple of good restaurants, cafes within walking distance as well as the local grocery store where we could buy lovely fresh fruits, water etc. The subway takes about 5-8 minutes walk and is about 3-5 stops from the main tourist areas of Barcelona. Subway is very efficient; a train comes every 2 minutes or so. The Hotel is about 20-30 minutes walk to the beach with wonderful seafood restaurants. We visited in the summer of July 2018."

"Really nice hotel with lots of amenities. Both pools were lovely, it would have been nice for the rooftop pool to open a bit later like other hotels in Barcelona. The rooms were bright and appealing with nice finishing touches. Really close to the metro (L9/L8) and buses to the airport, making it easy to get around. My only irritation was the fact that I had been bitten in the night and now have 4 itchy insect bites. I had stayed in an another hotel and explored Barcelona 3 days before this and had not been bitten. And when i stayed here did. Bed bugs maybe? On the whole it's a beautiful hotel. "
