Dresden hotels & accommodations

Stayed for a night in Dresden before heading to Prague. The hotel is amazing. Used to work in another Kempinski- managed hotel so I decided to stay here and it was amazing. Though the valet is quite expensive for €25, it was fine. Very close to everything. And the restaurant serves amazing German food downstairs at Pauliner. If ever I'm going back to Dresden, will defi...

Pullman Dresden is only a 3 minute walk from Dresden Hbf. It is situated at one end of a main shopping/eatery boulevard which extends all the way to the Old Town. It is about 4-5 tram stops away from the Old Town, and about 6-8 tram stops away from the area across the river (where the famous milk shop is) but it is all within quick and easy reach as there is a tram...

Apart from being quite far from the city by walk (you have either to take not-so-frequent bus or go by car/taxi) we had a perfect stay and would recommend this place to everyone. Complimentary water in room was especially nice at these hot days in Dresden.

We did not use the hotel much as we spent the time sightseeing. On arrival, the GPS lead us to the front of the hotel, where it is a shopping plaza. As we were early for check-in, the staff tried to advise where to find parking, and mentioned that the parking did not belong to the hotel, so the cost would be ours. As the directions were not very clear, we settled fo...

The AandO Dresden Hauptbahnhof Hotel/Hostel in Dresden is a happy and efficiently run and well-organized business. It is located in a completely and successfully re-cycled office block. Everything is very functional and security has been given a high priority. Rooms are small, but well-appointed. The place is great value for money, particularly since it is located ...

After extensive travelling through Saxony we were lucky enough to be able to spend a couple of days in Dresden, but had made no prior booking. We sound this at a very reasonable price and we’re delighted with the great location, and clean , spacious, efficient accommodation. We were sad we could only spend one night, due to prior bookings in Berlin. Yes we would defini...

This place was so stunning. We had a view of the river! We came from Australia to see the famous Christmas Markets - which are not to be missed! We were able to easily stroll there and back and see all the amazing sites of Dresden on the way. Would stay here again!

Good hotel at a very good price. Excellent breakfast. Very nice and polite staff, speaking very good english. Private parking4.6euro/day.If you are by car,you can arrive in 10 minutes in the city center, where you can find a parking, even with 5euro/day. It is a quiet place. I would recommend this hotel(I would stay again in this hotel )

The studio apartment that we rented was spectacular, and the staff were absolutely great. The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable, and right in the centre of the old town. The directions on how to reach the apartment block was a little challenging due to some road closures because of the Christmas Market, but it was great having parking underneath t...

I have used the ibis chain in the UK quite a bit and compared to them this Ibis in Dresden was less satisfactory. primarily because it didn't offer free Wi-Fi. Apparently there was free Wi-Fi from the lobby for 1 hour but the receptionist didn't explain it properly and I logged-on to a different system (none of the systems was called Ibis or anything obvious so I went ...

The hotel is at good location in Dresden, almost all the famous spots in the downtown is within the walking distance, especially that it only takes about 5 mins walk to roam around the beautiful riverside. There are plenty paitings/art within the hotel and the room. Free wireless is available on a per day request basis to the front desk. The hotel staff is kind and war...

this hotel is good because it location is in the centrum of old dresden(surely the major tourist attractin of old town of dresden.when you feel tired from visit palace, museum and shopping you can go back to your room for some relaxation. The bad part of this hotel at this moment ( and for the whole town of dresden) is thre are too much construction and renovation surro...

the duty manager, Amanda and the receptionist, Janice, promised my room request of twin beds upon my luggage drop-off at the hotel at 11:00 am before the formal check-in time. However, they did not write down my request confirmation in record. When I checked in at 19:00, the staff on duty replied Amanda did not handover the information to him and there was no more tw...

The day before we arrived in Dresden we were emailed excellent directions from the hotel. They explained, very clearly, how to get from the train station to the hotel using public transport. A short train ride and then a tram which drops you off very near the hotel. The check-in was smooth and we were assigned a room on the ground floor which measured up to the Bes...

Innside by Melia is a high quality design / butique / business hotel, which caters to the mid-upper class of travelers, sometimes verging on luxury. It's situated right in the heart of Dresden, almost all of the views are in easy walking distance, no need to bring a car. Service is smooth and highly impersonal, do not expect the warmness of a small family run inn, whic...

These apartments have to be the best tourist value in Dresden. They are located in the heart of the old city only minutes from the river and close to all the key historic monuments. Our bed was very comfortable and our top floor apartment was very quiet and fully equipped for self catering and even included a washing machine. A throughly great place to stay.

the nh dresden hotel is a modern property with comfortable rooms offering substantial space that could be, in my opinion, utilized better. while i liked the shower and bath tub, i felt that the closets and storage areas were too small. i managed without problem to organize my articles of clothing because i only stayed two nights - a longer stay would have surely requ...

First appearances are deceiving. It looks ramshackle untidy messy. But hostel has character and it grows on you. Other guests extremely friendly helpful. Seems like a big family. I loved my stay here and would use them again. My only complaint is distance from old city. But tram service is good. The staff is the best I have encountered in ten weeks of staying at hostel...

It was not near to the railway and tram station, far from tourist points. Sign board is not so clear to find. You have better get back hostel before too late at night. This is hostel not hotel, you need to pay another charge for sheets. There are two parts of residence.I stayed so large and comfortable room with balcony for the price. Accommodation also good and clean...

The room has all the bases and reasonably comfortable. The staff is very friendly and willing to communicate with the guests in English even though their spoken English is limited. However, the hotel also does not have a lot of features that a typical hotel has, such as free internet, coffee and tea maker, a refrigerator, flat-panel TV, cable channels and a fitness roo...

The hotel is small and peripheral to Dresden, but near to the bus stop. Rooms are small but well maintained and clean, good heating. The hotel has no facilities (spa, massage, lift, etc.) and you can check in only from 4 pm; in our room the wifi was very weak and the television old style. The staff is friendly and gave us all the information. We stayed during the holi...

Is very clean and safe. Good area quite at night. Decorated in a very unique way. Staffs are all very helpful, speak good english. Very close to tram station, walking distance to city centre. If u have a big baggage, teksi to train station is around €10.

Apart from being quite far from the city by walk (you have either to take not-so-frequent bus or go by car/taxi) we had a perfect stay and would recommend this place to everyone. Complimentary water in room was especially nice at these hot days in Dresden.

We booked Superior room with one large bed. Even after presenting the booking voucher to the employee at the reception desk, he tried to tell that "large bed was just our wish". Then he said that if we came earlier, he could give us an appropriate room, but now all of them are taken. We had to stay in a very small room with batter walls. The room itself was good, but ...

The hotel is about a 3 minute walk from S-Bahnhof Dresden-Klotzsche. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Dresden HB. Be aware though, that the train comes every half an hour. (There is a tram that runs along the street in front of the hotel so there may be a nearby tram stop.) We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is superbly clean. The only low point is the lack of...

However, the address should be Noethnitzer Hang 27, 01728 Bannewitz (this is still just outside city limits of Dresden) instead of Dresden (Plauen) as listed on your web site. We would recommend that the Germany telephone should be listed in case one needs to contact them directly when in country.

Stayed here on our recent trip to Germany for the Christmas markets. I was traveling with my mother and wanted a twin room. The hotel is located close to excellent transport links (S-bahn Dresden mitte, trams and buses). It is about 5 minutes by taxi to the main train station. We travelled around by tram which were located 1-2 minutes walk from the hotel. The r...

This hotel was about 2k from Dresden's central train station. It was only about 3k away from the city center. We are backpackers and it was easy to walk to and easy to find. It's on a main road and it's right next to an authentic German restaurant that brews it's own beer. The hotel was very clean, neat, and orderly and even had bikes for hourly and daily rentals. We r...

The hostel is very close to the center of the town (you can reach it by foot). There is a kitchen with a microwave and fridge on the last floor of the hotel. Polite stuff. Rich breakfast with meat and fresh fruits. There is a little need in your own bathroom and fridge. Beds in double rooms are only separated. This hostel is rather good choice for it low price. The int...

The Radisson Blu Gewandhaus Hotel in Dresden is a nice classic hotel, just meters from the main sights in Dresden's old city. The service was quick and uncomplicated, the rooms were nice and clean, equipped with a modern TV and had a spacious shower. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The hotel is located near main square, walking distance to all attractions of Dresden. Our room was big, very clean with a nice bathroom. Lovely city. The old town is beautiful, take the sightseeing hop on, hop off bus as you get to see it all.
Beautiful city, full of history and culture. Amazing how the old were rebuilt right next to the new.
Dresden is a must for those interested in 18th and 20th century history. Ruined by WWII, but beautifully restored, its dark history is depressing and ever present.
If it is one day trip, then you can walk around instead of buying a one day ticket! There are alots to see!!!
We took a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus tour around the city provides an audioguide in 8 different languages.
There is not so many people crowded except for tourist points. It seems motor cars are restricted in old city.
