"for a few days vacation/ shopping in dusseldorf this is a hit! we went for the christmasmarkets 2010 and the location is very good. in the centre, near the konigs allee and schadow platz.alll can be done by foot. the rooms are very clean and fresh. the bathrooms are small and the rooms are also quite small for 4 (1 double, 2 bunkbeds). cheap and easy, and the breakfast is really good for that price! friendly staff (but not many around. quite strict house rules (which is good for this kind of hostel)in short: good stay, good price, for 1 to 3 nights!"

"Every single member of staff we encountered were a delight, so friendly, happy and helpful. We were missing a bathrobe and tv remote from our room and they were delivered promptly and with a smile. The cooked breakfast was variable : nicely cooked bacon and sausages one day and then greasy and under-done the next (different chef at the weekend maybe?). There was plenty of other choice on the buffet so we didn’t go hungry. They had jars of jelly sweets in the lobby area which were topped up daily which was a nice little touch. One thing I did notice was an unpleasant sewer smell in the reception area (the reason I only gave it a 3* otherwise it was very clean) but we spent so little time there that we didn’t get round to mentioning it. There’s plenty of restaurants nearby if you don’t want to eat in the hotel and a nice 20 minute walk along The Rhine takes you into the Altstadt. "

"Hotel was better than the reviews I read. Location is nearby a lot of Asian restaurants, walking distance to Altstadt. Bed is comfortable and no water stuck on the floor. Check in and out was good and efficient. However, I wish they provide toiletries in the bathroom. Good hotel, will stay there again if I'm in Dusseldorf "
