Traveling to Germany? Find Dusseldorf hotels

The hotel was overall a good choice, and pretty good value for the money (I'd heard Dusseldorf is one of the most expensive parts of Germany). I didn't use the spa/health center but I suspect this would have made it an even better value as there is a pool and sauna. The room wasn't too small either, there were two beds right next to each other, plenty of space to walk between a desk and a large closet, and a bathroom which was pretty spartan but had almost everything you need (although it did have shampoo/soap, which I've never been partial too but perhaps isn't a problem for people). If I had paid a lot more it would have been worth getting something a bit nicer but given the Agoda prices it was definitely worth it - and I didn't book more than a week in advance so I probably could have gotten an even better rate.

I stayed here after a business meeting ahead of a flight home. The hotel is nicely designed, clean and very comfortable. It is an easy ride on the tram from the central station. It is next to a busy road but you hear nothing of this once inside your room. The rooms are quite spacious [especially for the price] although the bathroom was quite small. If I come back to Dusseldorf I will definitely stay here.

Was staying in a 2 person room for 2 days. Hotel is a solid choice for someone who wants a good room in an excellent location and walking distance to the center station, rhine and general area (japanese community). Staff speaks german, english and japanese (as far as I could tell) and is very friendly and accomodating. Could be a bit cheaper for what it is, but if you don't mind paying a bit extra for the location it's fine. Room (10th floor) was great. Excellent condition, a (smaller) batth and a little kitchen with everything you need, lots of space, good design, and an incredibly comfortable bed. Would recommend.

Owing to staff's help, we were able to catch the plane to Japan. He kept knocking on the door till we actually woke up because we slept to much to notice the wake up call he made. We appreciated his excellent help. The other stuff are also nice and very helpful. Besides, the room was clean and nicely decorated, fabulous breakfast, close enough to central station. I would like to recommend this hotel to my friends.

NH Hotel Nord Dusseldorf is next to a S-bahn station with several lines including S1, S6, providing direct access to Dusseldorf Hbf and the airport, so it's location is very convenient. The facility of the hotel is good, but considering it's a four-star hotel, there is still space for improvement in lighting and maybe a Bluetooth speaker. Additionally, I hope next time their will be slippers and toothbrushes and toothpaste in place The fitness area of the hotel is a kind of compact, hope it can expand it a little. It's nice to have free bottled mineral water and sports drink there. The breakfast of the hotel is far more than satisfying, with rich choices of tea, juices, fruits, diaries and other foods. I think this is the highlight of the hotel. The service of the breakfast is also very good, the waiter/waitress will come to offer fresh coffee milk when they find you are seated, very good services. Overall I really enjoy my stay in the hotel and it's of great value of your money.

Booked this hotel because it was close to the office but there is not much to see beside work. Dusseldorf is a 20 min ride away so its not that bad. Slow Wifi is free but premium is 5euro per day, its not much but still considering they set them self up as a business hotel it is not very business minded. All in all i enjoyed my stay but not sure i'll go back because after work hours that place is dead...

We had a very enjoyable two night stay at InterCity and were generally very pleased. The rooms were spacious, clean, and with good facilities. The bathroom and shower was great. The breakfast buffet was good and probably worth the additional cost. The hotel location is excellent, just a few minutes away from Dusseldorf HBF. In fact, it was only upon check out that we had problems. I had booked three rooms on Agoda with payment to be made automatically on my credit card. Despite saying this at check out, we were told that we still needed to pay for the rooms. Whilst a genuine error, reception staff were very poor in seeking to resolve the issue when we got home and realised we had been charged twice. Emails and phone calls were not responded to. It was only when we 'tweeted' that the manager of the hotel intervened and resolved the problem. Caution advised therefore if booking via Agoda. But this issue would not deter us from staying at the hotel again.

We stayed for 2 nights (2adults +2 children 3 and 6yrs), we had the studio suite. This room was spacious and as advertised. Large plus point was the free mini bar (they even restocked them). Staff was helpfull and friendly , english was not a problem. Bathroom was ok . Beds are the only downside in our opinion. They where very soft. We will return for sure. Dusseldorf is a very nice city, and Wyndham hotel is located perfectly towards the town , but not inside the centre so it is easy to come and leave by car.

Saw the great reviews but wasn't as enthusiastic as the other reviewers after our trip. First there was a strange smell in the corridors and rooms. Maybe it's me but it doesn't really smell nice. The bed was two single beds placed together with a crack in between which was a bit annoying. For the rest there are a few minor things. In overall the feeling was disappointing compared with what I expected. Plus: location is very good if you want to shop and see the city. However, do note that shops in Germany are closed on Sundays.

We stayed here for one night as our Father/Father in law had visited and was going back to the UK on an early flight the following day. Very conveniently situated hotel with good ammeneties and vety clean throughout. The rooms (2 doubles) were spacious, clean, had everything we needed with a well equipped and spacious bathroom too. Frau Eagner, shift leader at the reception was very friendly when I called to confirm the booking and equally friendly when we arrived making sure we were given two rooms next to each other. Actually, all staff we encountered were great apart from Frau Richter who was working in the restaurant. We travel a lot but have never been spoken to in such an abrupt, rude, arrogant and condescending manner! We wanted a drink and as the bar was closed due to staff shortage, we came into the restaurant werewe were ‘barked at’ for even trying the bar (the bar door was OPEN, no sign on it it was locked). Absolutely shocking and unprofessional conduct from Frau Richter.

Friendly staff. Great rooms and super clean. Easy parking under the hotel, but costs 15 euro overnight. Great breakfast, with everything one can imagine , maybe not so much for Asians ( no rice dishes/ wok food). The fitness room was a joke though. ( Only 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical and 1 bike, all technogym , and a few free weights. Sauna way too small( fits maybe 3 seated). Steam room was broken. But no surcharge so that is not bad. Will gladly visit again though. Nice stay.

I usually stay at the Marriott. This time it was fully booked, that is why I had to choose Innside. Actually I wasn't disappointed. It is, in comparison to Marriott a bit pricey, but is totally worth the money. Breakfast is delicious and the view over the harbour is awesome. Rooms got sleepers and a coffee machine, minibar is included. Definitely is a better value for its money than Hyatt in the same harbour

Had to stay in Dusseldorf for work for about a week. Had tried a few other hotels there in same price range without having once the nice feeling of "next time, I'll get back in this hotel". well, I did there. Very nice and professional staff in all areas (welcome desk / bar / restaurant), a little spa area with decent (but few) gym equipements, a nice bar, an excellent breakfast in the morning (huge buffet of quality-products). Not too impersonnal / not too personnal either. a pretty nice balance. The rooms are a little confuzing to start with (shower all in glass and no separation wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. however, after a while you get use to it and starts appreciating it. Large openable windows and view on a little green area behind. Not sure I would appreciate to be 2 in that room if you need a little more privacy but for a single traveler: perfect.

we attended the messe dusseldorf ( medica ) and it was my first trip to dusseldorf. not much to expect and of course we had little choice of hotel in dusseldorf town as the number of visitors are huge. pleasantly surprise with the hotel, as it's not that far from town as well as to the fairground ( about 11 euros by taxi ). room are spacious with free minibar and internet connection. breakfast spread was quite good and reasonably price.

- the hotel's overall is seems to be good, but except the reception staff, no smile, not good in mood, attitude, till i’m checked-out. - the hotel's staff are poor in customer services. be inattentive customer while I’m check-in, I have to wait 5-10mins in-front of reception desk for waiting their to continuing my check-in. I had a reservation via agoda.com but it seems to be happen some mis-managing/ un-professional in staff. they cannot find my booking confirmation, and asking me to pay again, as guarantee fees from credit card, and took my card. that’s feel me some curious. but the transaction is error in system. - luck me - After that, they checked the data again, and finally found my booking confirmation. So i do not need to pay guarantee fees again for twice. ???? what happen with this? - the free bottle of water in the room. the bottle in the tea table is available for free right? So, I just wondering that, while I’m stayed at this hotel for 4day and 3 night. I just getting only 1 bottle of water, and why the hotel did not replacing a new one for my room for each day while i stayed. do i need to make a room reservation(booking) separately for each date for getting a new booking number and get some bottle of water? - the bed sheet is also, while i stayed, I ate some snack and it’s a bit stained on the bed sheet. but they did not changed the new bed sheet for me. I have to stayed with that till i checked out. - the refrigerator in the room, what does it stand for? noting in it. You have to grab it at small bar, shop at lobby floor. - free internet is available only for 100MB per ticket. If you attempt to walking down to lobby-reception for get a free new ticket again. unless, if you are not, you can buy a data package from hotel. - Disappoint a bit, from this hotel to compare with OTHER MARIOTT.

We spent a night after visiting Dusseldorf city. Next day, we planned to visit Insel Hombroich which is a art museum that takes about 10min driving from the hotel. It was a great choice for us as the deal was so good. it was a good value budget hotel, not a 4star hotel. We did not put out hopes up as the price was under our budget, so the place was O.K. The room was spacious, somehow the room seemed empty. It did not bother us, but the room really needs serious cleaning from the bathroom to the carpet. Specially the bathroom, I cleaned it before using it as I did not want to make a fuss about it. We wanted to use the pool, but it was outdoor and it was cold. I would try out other hotel next time i visit the town, but if the good bargain stays, i'll be back.
