"the hotel is quite old, but still in good condition. I think the management maintain it quite well. However, not everyone speak good english, since the hotel located in east side of Germany. the city of Halle is quite interesting, since it's the place of Bach.. if you are classical music enthusiast, you should know him."

"The Dorint Charlottenhorf was chosen for an overnight stay given its proximity to the train station (for an early morning start next day). From reception to checkout to experience was wonderful. I was only there for 14 hours but reception provided helpful details on getting back to the train station (Google maps doesn't take into account current building works!), the bed was very comfortable, and a kettle was brought up to the room very quickly after my request. While the hotel has a restaurant, there are other options nearby (within 50-200 metres) and what looked to be a cinema complex. Great choice."
