"As said in the title, the hostel was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the hostel's location ist extremely central - right in front of the main station (Hamburg Hauptbahnhof). Even though we booked a twin room, we got upgraded to a 4-bed room (maybe just bc the rooms were free and/or our still occupied?) and also got two towels after asking, which are included in the single and twin rooms, but not in the bigger ones. Each bed had very convenient plugs for all our electronic devices (2 power outlets and 2 USB sockets) and even a small reading lamp. The bed were pretty narrow (80cm?). It might be sufficient for a person like me (1,66m/60kg), but I don't know how it might feel for taller/wider guests. The bathrooms were kinda small and very much the same as the Japanese business hotel bathrooms: slightly elevated and the inside walls are all plastic. The toilet was just a normal one though - no high-tech ;) But everything was very clean. Besides being right in front of the main station our room (416) was very quiet except for the occasional heavy thump from the guest right above us. The breakfast buffet for 5,50€ (not included in room prices) was a little disappointing - dry bread (albeit 3 types to choose from) and cheap meat (pork and chicken) and cheese. Hardly any veggies and no fruit. The coffee was instant and tasted awful. There was plenty of prepacked tea to choose from though and cereals, which we didn't try. I'd advise to get something to eat from one of the coffee shops in the main station for breakfast. It won't be necessarily more expensive, but definitely tastier. Overall we really liked the hostel. Given the opportunity, I'm definitely coming back. I might add that we were weekend sightseeing tourists, away from around 9am to 10pm or later and just needed a clean, private place to sleep at and didn't expect any luxury or room service."

"I really have enjoyed my stay in this hotel, first, it was good location as right opposite to central train station, so it made the journey short and convenience. Second, the front desk staff is helpful and professional. I like them all. Third, the variety in breakfast has plenty of choices, and fresh. Forth, the free wifi plus the sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and swimming pool relaxed me after a day of work. Finally, the room is clean and comfortable. I didn’t have disappointment during my stay. Excellent, this is the hotel I will stay if I revisit Hamburg, and thank you!"

"Courtyard by Marriott is walking distance from the Hamburg Central Train Station thus it is very convenient to roam around the city. It is a new hotel which as per the receptionist, just opened last September 2019. The receptionists are very accommodating and even permitted early check in and late check out. We will definitely book this hotel again if ever we will return to Hamburg."

"That's a nice, modern hotel. The view on the harbor is fantastic and the staff is very nice and helpful. Things that could be improved: The elevator is very slow (if working) so be prepared for some waiting time. The shower and bathroom in the rooms are very loud so that you can hear the related activities from the neighbor rooms. It would have been nice if the reception had informed me that breakfast will be extra charged. That would have saved me 22 EUR. Still not sure where the price is coming from ..."
