"Cheapest hostel in Munich during Oktoberfest. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Except my last night, but i highly suspect it was destroyed by the new people who checked in. Towels were thrown everywhere on the toilet floor and a bag of rubbish was left on the toilet floor too. however be warned. If you get allocated to the rooms that face the construction (will start early morning at 7am) and the outdoor sitting area (drunk people will gather there and talk at the top of their voices until 3am). it really is up to your luck. my first stay was on the other side of the building which the only noises are trains passing by, and oktoberfest had not started yet. had a good night then."

"Great, central location. Less than 10mins walk to Marienplatz and also it’s walkable to Munich Central Station. Facilities are generally good. Best to bring your own shampoo, body wash and conditioner and hotel only provided an all-in-one soap. One thing to note — there are only 2 power points in the room — one beside the table and one IN the toilet. So your partner probably has to charge his phone in the toilet. Room is clean; nothing to fuss about. However both my husband and I got bug bites showing up around our body when we returned home — not too sure if we got it from the hotel or outside but please check the bed just in case!"

"First of all, I went to series of Novotel hotels in different countries and all of them were very nice. Novotel Muenchen Messe Hotel Munich was very nice place to live in, as it was clean, very nice location, it has A/C (not all hotels got A/Cs in Germany!) and not that expensive. The room was very modern style, I loved it. As I said the location was very nice, the S-Bahn Train station was near it and a BIG shopping mall near it as well. It was simply one of the best hotels."
