"Shuttle to hotel on right side after exiting airport. Free. Was offered a drink while checking in. Staff was great. Room on 4th floor club level. Food was very good. Early flight the next morning so did not have an opportunity for breakfast. Some noise from other guests and the traffic did keep me up for a while, but overall I would stay here if I had an early flight. Trip into downtown hotel in Quito will take 40 minutes and cost 20 usd or more each way, so you can decide for yourself. I'm happy with my choice."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Reina Isabel - surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms & bathrooms. Back again for a second & third stay whilst in transit to exploring other countries. Be aware - that Sunday is rest day in Quito - so if you need room service - the main restaurant is closed Staff extremely friendly and helpful with all our needs, we left luggage for safe keeping whilst we explored the Galápagos. Booking taxis no problem - the hotel will call them - tho if you're uncomfortable with the unmarked "taxis" make sure to tell the hotel you wish to have an "official" taxi with all the registered stickers. The hotel takes note of all the taxis number plates that pick you up. Overall would stay here again, on my second stay as writing this review "

"We found Finlandia to be an excellent choice for us, close to Quicentro Mall, several pharmacies, the red line bus, and the first stop for the Quito Hop on, Hop off Bus tour. There were not so many local restuarants in the neighborhood, but the hotel restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced. The staff was almost univesally excellent, helping us with the Tren tour to Boliche, recommending restaurants and changing currency. When my husband needed to see a doctor, the hotel arranged for our favorite driver and made an appointment with an opthamalogist at Vos Andes Hospital. We are returning in a week for a couple more nights before returning to the US. I can't understand why it isn´t higher rated. Our experience there for 13 nights was excellent."

"The stay at Quito Hotel, although for just one night was very pleasant. This is a very well maintained property and after a terrible previous night's stay at Chalet Suisse Hotel(easily the worst hotel in all of the places where we stayed during our 2 week trip through Ecuador), stay at this hotel was a very pleasant experience. The reception area is grand, the room and beds were just great and there were two computers for free internet use. "
