"We were so happy with our stay at this hotel. Our room was outside of the main hotel building, a short walk down the street in an old half-timbered house, which was nice and something different. The owners could not have been any more helpful and really helped make our stay very pleasant. We arrived early morning, and they gave us great recommendations on things to see in the surrounding area and transport options. They carried my heavy bag to my room for me, were accommodating in giving us late check out, and even lent us their push bikes to explore Rhens and the Rhine river. They really made the stay in Rhens fantastic. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the food was absolutely fantastic!! Definitely recommend you eat here! We arrived at breakfast close to it's finishing time, so there was less selection available, and would recommend arriving earlier for it. Rhens was a gorgeous, quaint little town on the Rhine. The KD boat cruises along the Rhine stop here, plus there is a train station. If you are cruising the Rhine river, we would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel in Rhens rather than the larger town of Koblenz just a bit further up the river. However note that Rhens is a very, very small town, so if it's nightlife or shopping you're after, stay elsewhere"
