This place was fantastic. Only 2km from the castles so it was an easy walk. The service and the food in the restaurant was the best I experienced in Germany. Seriously.
Considering the location that very closed to castle and flexibility to travel around and sightseeing. Stay here. That's all what you need as a traveler.
Friendly staff and nice breakfast, typical german food and great location of its enviorment, lake :) Closed to Rewe(supermarket) and Neuschwanstein Castle by car. Just one minor thing is slow wifi to share the pictures to friends ^^;;
We stayed in the #6 suite, which included a kitchen and living room. #6 is on the first floor, we thought by the number it would have been on the top floor, we were pleasantly surprised by having the first floor. It was so nice that we wish we would have booked it for a week.
We stay in the Modern Art studio, which is spacious. This apartment is self-check in, so you will receive an email describing how you can come inside. The studio has a kitchen but no spice so I guess it just for decoration. You can make some basic meal (I have a young kid come with me), but that's ok. Everything is clean, and there is a spacious backyard, which I think...

The male owner was very kind and nice. That day we arrived Fussen bahnhof very late (around 9.30pm) due to train delay and there's no taxi at the train station, we called to tell him our situation, and he immediately offered a pickup for us. We were very grateful for his kindness. The room was small, but clean. Facilities looked old but in good condition. No air-condit...
We arrived late at night and our room key and hotel info packet was waiting for us st the front desk which was great. Clean room friendly staff!
Though we spent only a night, we enjoyed every second of it. The owner were kind enough to let us use the bicycles for free, which we were able to fully explore the surrounding, including the castles and Fussen town. The owner also responded immediately when the heater given some problems. Highly recommended.
The staff is helpful particularly in providing us a kettle for our needs. It also provides some travel information near around the area. As a result, we got the information of Legoland and have been there in the end. The hotel location is also very good to go to the Schloss Neuschwanstein, it just takes around 10-15 minutes to drive there.
