"In 7 months of traveling, this is one of the best hostels I’ve seen. It’s probably the cleanest, and the staff is refreshingly friendly and welcoming. I was welcomed with a warm smile after walking with my luggage in the rain (thanks, Indie!) I wish I had more time to lounge in the hammocks and hang out with the staff... this is a place I could easily stay for a few days or more. It’s close enough to the town of Tena (15 minute walk) but far enough away that it’s peacefully quiet at night. Which made for a great night’s sleep because the bed was super comfortable too. For those of you that need to work or connect to WIFI like me, the connection was strong enough to load web pages easily and have conversations. Certainly a plus for me before heading into the rainforest for a few days. Bottom line, in the many that I've seen, Hostal Tena Naui is a gem. One more thing - the delicious breakfast for $3!"
