"Although the Park Plaza Trier Hotel is clearly aimed at business people if provided the ideal stopover on our way to our final holiday destination. Right in the centre of the town with direct access to a municipal car park it is excellently situated. Within 30 seconds you can walk into the main town square and Trier’s main attractions are all within a 5 minute walk. The staff are all very friendly and speak excellent English and are very helpful. We had booked a standard room but were given a free upgrade to a suite which was lovely. All rooms have all the facilities that you could reasonably want and an extensive breakfast is available. "

"My friend and I stayed here for only 1 night, but now wish we could have made it longer. Whatever brings your to Trier, this is a fantastic place to stay. Location is central. The hotel is clean and rooms were huge. I'm not sure if we were upgraded, but we had a lovely little sitting area in our room, with steps going down to a massive bathroom. We were able to open the windows and look out on the square below, which has such an incredible European feel. Staff was very helpful when we needed anything. And the Italian Restaurant, right in the courtyard (L'Osteria I believe), served one of my most memorable meals on my entire 2 week trek around Europe. You will not be disappointed with your stay here!"

About 15 minutes walk to the main sights, shops and restaurants, over tyRoman bridge. We enjoyed our short stay here. The rooms overlooking the main road can be noisy, especially in hot weather when you might like the window open. otherwise well placed, with adequate parking."
