"Before you make the booking, take note that the hotel is still under construction. The front office staff said to me that they expect to make the grand opening in December 2019. That's why expect some noises from the construction, unfinished facilities. I had a good night sleep there as the noises from the construction were still bearable for me. I stayed on the 2nd floor in a Smart Double Room. Some neighbouring rooms were not ready yet, so there were workers lingering to complete their work. No nuisance at all from them. I suspected that the room I stayed in was also not completely ready. The door has not been polished even though it has been equipped with electronic key. The design of the bathroom is weird because the shower is located right next to the bathroom door and the toilet is put on the inner side of the bathroom. Expect some wet bathroom floors. Do be careful if you bring elderly and children. The bed is soooo good and heavenly. Can't wait for the grand opening."

"We found Kresna Hotel to be the best hotel in Wonosobo and not as bad as some earlier reviews. To be fair with Kresna, we can't compare it with 4 Star hotel in Yogyakarta or Jakarta. The building itself is lovely. We found by accident that the Superior Room upstairs was much better than the Executive Room at Ground Level, the only different is the air-conditioner which is about IDR 300,000 extra per night. Do stay with Superior and ask for a fan. You can open the window for cool air as the window is covered with mosquito netting. Breakfast is good enough although may not be the best. The Lobby is lovely and very spacious. The Wifi is definately the worst part of the hotel. Just can't understand why we can only get wifi at the lobby and not in the room. Otherwise, it should be an excellent hotel to stay especially if we want to go to Dieng area. Nevertheless, we certainly would like to come back to this hotel in our next trip to the region.
