"Great location, right in the centre of town within the walls. All attractions within walking distance. Not the cheapest hotel in York, but well worth the money due to the location and also away from the bars so quiet at night. Overlooking one of the main attractions and easy to find, just follow signs to Cliffords tower, where there is a huge car park right next to both the tower / museums and the hotel itself. Great for Sightseeing / Shopping / Business. Try to get a room at the front of the hotel so can take advantage of the great view."

"Stayed at the queens hotel in york on fri december 2009.The hotel is only a short walk away from the centre and is brillant for shopping and nights out.The bars and clubs are only 5 mins away across the bridge. Its a shame the car parking at this hotel is not included in the price of your room.I had to drop my things off and park at the nearest N.C.P 5 mins away(£10.20 for 24 hours).Apart from that i was pleased with my stay and would use this hotel again. If you don`t book your breakfast and like to have a lay in like us there is a cafe just round the corner and cook a really good breakfast for a fiver."
