The best stay on my trip!”

My stay at the Ciwulan36 Guesthouse was great! The staff, three very friendly young guys, an me became friends right from the beginning. So my stay at the hotel changed into a hang-out time with new friends! They helped me when I had problem with ATMs, they drove me around for small shopping or visiting places and we all sat together in the evening in front of the dutch-style GuestHouse (built in 1971), playing guitar, drinking beer and sharing stories. sounds like an overloaded happy-story, but it was exactly like I told it. I want to come back to Bandung in 2015 and there is only one place for me to stay: the Ciwulan 36 Guest House.

If you want to spare some time in Bandung I suggest to stay here in Ciwulan. Located in the center of city, just walking distance to Gedung Sate, a historical building in Bandung. Very close to Jl Riau , Bandung's Factory Outlet, retail shop that sell clothing for the family. One thing that you have to prepare if you want to stay in Ciwulan Guest House don't forget to bring soap and shampoo because they don't provide it.

Nice & Homy Homestay in the centre of Bandung”

Our family has a wonderful stay, because the location is close to shopping and dining restaurants. The room itself was comfortable, specially for the capacity of 4 persons and 1 baby. Otherwise, we suggested the the bathroom to have racks for bath things (shampoo, soap, toothbrush) and towels. Overall, this historical house left us the unique experience while staying in Bandung.

I love the old but new house setting, the furniture is a mixture of modern and ancient java heritage, lots of sofa in the lobby, the pantry is open for cooking , they have tea or coffee for every time u wanna make them, they rent bicycle, they have wi fi, great breakfast (only for agoda customer), there is a lot of restaurant just around the corner (alas daun). in the morning it is perfect for morning wlaks or jogging, me and my husband we walk trough 3 different parks (pet park, lansia park, and the park), many food trucks attraction on Sunday morning near here, and u can go to Gedung sate just by walking. Love the location!

We had a great stay at the guest house. Every staff member did his utmost to make us feel at home. The neighborhood is very green, spacious and quiet. All around are old colonial houses which makes for a very 'tempo doeloe' atmosphere. Sundanese food is fantastic. Ask about restaurant 'Alas Daun' when you are there.

Its a nice guest house, clean and comfortable also. Although my children still complaining because no swimming pool there. Its hard to locate for the first time, but the staff directing from the phone.. its was nice to sleep over, i will be back,..

The place is located in strategic area with easy access to the city's landmark, Gedung Sate and Gasibu field in the front side. The staff was friendly and helpful while the place is clean and artistically designed. The furniture reminds me of the old furniture back in grandma's place, which is nice and makes you feel like home. The price is also affordable. I recommend the place to stay with friends and family.

All in all, everything was good with friendly staff & comfortable enviroment. Except 2 thing to improve: 1. Internet access coverage is poor. Mostly signal is available at concierge. 2. Hotel breakfast was very very limited. We had only bread, jam, omelette for 3 days straight. It was fasting month (for Muslim) when we was there. If you will be travelling there during that time, please take note.
