OK, affordable with moderate cleanliness”
Strategic, within walking distance to the shopping mall and traditional cuisine spots. I booked the night before when I was in Medan. The flight transit in Jakarta then landed at early morning in Makassar, so I checked in at 4.00 AM. I consider it as late check in (yesterday's date), but at first the receptionist got me wrong and said it was early check in (for that day's date) and he insisted I had to pay extra cost 150k. I was so tired yet I tried to explain to him. I was glad that he finally understood. But still, he warned me to check out at 12.00 noon. Thank God, the room quite comfort for my exhausted body. I slept until 10.00 and skipped the breakfast. For the next stay, I re-checked in and got different room with broken AC. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for them to fix it. The amenities are just standard, ok for business traveller who spend more time outside the room. The morning receptionist and concierge were more polite and helpful.

Close to shopping malls. ”
This is not an easy to find hotel and it us only close to panakunang shopping mall. You have to move by taxi or know exactly how the bemo network runs in Makassar. Tey speak very little english and the front desk girl can not give you usefull information if you are a foreing visitor going to toraja or the airport. The breakfast is ok an tge price of the hotel acceptable.

clean rooms, bathroom is ok. ac was good. free mini bar. but restourant is not clean in fried rice, i found some uncleanes union root inside fried rice. very disgusting.

This is a good budget hotel. The room is adequate, snd better than the competitor at the same price. Rushton now they are still softy opening so that makes these price cheap. The location is also good neat in the business district. The down side is. .. The service. .. specially during breakfast hour

One night before Sulawesi travel”
We stayed at the hotel just for one night before travelling to Tana Toraja (fantastic) and it was fine. The staff suggested a good seafood restaurant nearby. As a nonsmoker the smoking at breakfast was not so great but the food was good.

not great, room was tiny, bar fridge did not work, staff did not speak english so google translate required to be used. supposed to have satellite tv with around 50 channels but we only has the standard 14 basic indonesian ones and when i enquired about it i git a rubbish answer that it was the service provider yet funnily enough the dining area in the hotel had the extra channels so that was a i think a lie. it was also noisy from street noise and a nearby mosque for that rude dawn awakening for prayer. Makassar is the city really has nothing to offer for tourist it is a transit point only and this hotel is not near lorisa beach which is the only part of the city worth being near. this hotel is however close to a shopping mall which has a cinema which provides some relief. .

Cramped and unhelpful staffs”
Room was 3x4 m at most, feels very cramped for two people. It had a non-functioning safe deposit box, an on-and-off water heater, an AC which constantly malfunction, and a refrigerator (which surprisingly worked). Wi-fi speed was excellent, too bad router was either down or not responding most of the time.
