Lovely hotel but felt their restaurant could have put more Covid restrictions in place”
This is a very comfortable hoel in a popular area. Everything is very clean but I was a little worried at the buffet breakfast as customers all used the same ladles etc. Felt at risk for Covid infection and felt that more restrictions for serving should have been in place

Great location (quick 10-12 min walk to subway & 100E bus to airport), staff helpful, gym & sauna are great to use, housekeeping knocks daily even when using DnD sign, lots of bars & restaurants within walking distance

Everything was very nice , but from the shower came yellow water in the evening. We called the receptionist and he said , let to run another 15-20 min . So we had to run the water at least for 30 min , and still didn't come clean water from the shower ....

The moment I went in the room the toilet bulb was blinking and realized the bed is full of dust, request to change another room and staff provided the room card next door immediately. Service is good just the cleanliness needs to be improve especially the dust on the bed.

Nice Hotel”
We had a lovely stay in Continental Hotel. Breakfast was very good, as was the quality of food in the restaurant and reasonably priced. However, we had an executive room and although size wise it was very spacious, the bed was extremely low and very uncomfortable and single duvets were to small for bed. The room was also at the front of the hotel and was very noisy In the night from traffic and loud music coming from the bar’s etc in the area which went on until 4am plus..not quite what we would expect from an Executive room. That said we would come back to the Continental the staff were lovely but we would book a standard room away from the front of the hotel.

Nice hotel in a central location”
Located near trams, subway and restaurants. It's a relatively new hotel and very classy for the price. The only negative thing I have to say is that the fragrance they use in their lobby is very present (smells like cinnamon and musk).

First time I wrote a review about hotel staff. But some of the staff at this hotel were so badly trained and rude. Reception and cleaning lady etc. I won't be back.

Great hotel with superb value for money”
During mine and my partners stay in Zara Continental Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel decor, facilities, comfort of room and cleanliness. The bedroom was comfortable although the view was one of other hotel rooms. The staff are always very friendly and quickly sorted out our safe when it malfunctioned. One slight disappointment was the over-priced food in the restaurant, but I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Hotel was nice and in a good location in Budapest They many restaurants around the hotel and also when you out of the airport just exchange 50euro for bus or taxi in the airport around the hotel area they is a good exchange rate for Hungary money just near around the hotel breakfast buffet was good not so boring I been stay at this hotel for 7days and 6night overall is one of the best hotel in Budapest 😁

Four Hungarian stars”
It seems that hotel stars in Hungary are inflated. More so than in other places. The Continental is a sólida 3 star hotel in international categories. It does have the amenities and location, but the room was a little tired, and for a 4-star hotel the double room was very tight. Again, acceptable on a 3-star but not on a 4-star. We stayed there for 4 nights and I don't think that they ever vacuumed or somehow cleaned the hardwood floor. So, a negative mark here. But overall the linen freshness and cleanliness were impeccable and changed daily. Bathrooms was also properly cleaned and refreshed daily. The breakfast is tops. Large variety and constantly being refreshed and added. Top grade here. All in all a good experience!

lovely hotel”
this was a lovely hotel in a great location if you like local garden parties and good food. The walk to the danube river was about forty minutes, but the walk was lovely and great chance to explore. The hotel itself was very clean and friendly. very stylish and confortable to say the least. The roof top spa was incredible with a brilliant view over budapest.

Great area for walking!”
The hotel is situated in the old Jewish area just down from the world's second to largest synagogue, which makes for really interesting walking. Accessing the main shopping area is also an easy walk. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the area. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. If I were to return to Budapest I would definitely stay there again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

the hotel interior is modern but still retain its old grand status. rooms are cosy and comfortable. although i stayed for only one night at continental hotel zara, it was good enough to recommend my friends to stay there.
