Fantastic Bungalow for the price. Large,clean and with a daybed and hammock on the balcony. Netflix ended TV. Loads of room and a good breakfast included for the price.

Dream place ”
Go here and never leave! We first stayed 5 nights and extended with 3 more because this please steals your hart. The bungalows are very neat (we stayed in the garden bungalow and family bungalow) The staff is amazing! Eli, the manager, and Dandy, the security guy, are both so friendly and happy to help! Actually all the ladies from the kitchen/housekeeping are the same friendly as well but we don't know their names. They are great cookes and always smile! The location is so nice. It's outside Bira (we rented a motorbike) but right at the beach. We went swimming every morning with our daughters when it was still low tide and you had a nice small private beach in front of Cosmos. Just down the stairs. Amazing! Words can't really describe this place, go here and see for your self, you won't regret it!

Incredibly Beautiful”
The hotel is located on a private beachfront of Bara beach. Best beach I have ever been to. Clean white sand and clear water with perfect temperature. The hotel itself was very nice with nice local staff. Food selection was good but service is slow. Alcohol selection is limited to beer. Not much to do in the area other than Tanjung Bira but the vibe at the hotel is nice. Very small, only a few bungalows so it's nice to relax. The sea-view bungalow was totally worth it. The room itself is a bit small, but the bed is nice.

Amazing view!”
Cosmos is simple but very cozy with an incredible view from the restaurant, that feels like home. Even though it's remote, you can spend all day around Cosmos without getting bored. Enjoy the view, go snorkeling (straight from the beach, I saw several turtles, sharks, stingrays and many other beautiful creatures), walk on the beach and have your picture taken by curious Indonesian tourists, eat nice food from the restaurant (the fried fish with sambal is delicious), chat with the friendly staff or other guests and share some Bintang. Apparently there is no Internet cable going to Bara beach so they share WiFi from a phone, that often doesn't work and if it works you have to fight for bandwidth with other guests and the staff. Rooms are simple but nice and give you a real “jungle-feel”, sometimes monkeys are partying on your roof. It's a shame that Cosmos doesn't provide some of the basics, such as drinking water and soap, so bring your own! I had a very pleasant 4-night stay.

This place is unforgettable. The service is always with a smile and going the extra mile. The food was brilliantly good. We had bungalow number 1, which means that you are in a hammock overlooking the beach and coastline, taking your breath away everyday. The ( white pristine) beaches and house reef are also amazing, just swim out 100 meters and snorkel around to see anything ranging from turtles to reef shark. Also grabbing a scooter and seeing the traditional boatbuilding or the Kajang region is worthwhile as well as heading out on the boat to the islands. Thanks again Eli and the rest of the team for an amazing time.

Hotel with very warm atmosphere ”
Very cozy and friendly hotel. If you are lucky to be there in high tide in daytime, the beach is beautiful and you can swim. Also good for snorkeling. Our garden view bungslow was very spacy, so children slept on 2nd floor, in extra bed. We enjoyed staying on our terrace and waching, how monkeys are jumping around. Breakfast was delicious, especially omlet. Also dinner was tasty and prices were reasonable. Special thanks to all staff, especially to Eli, who was extremely helpful and spoke good english, which is not very usual on Sulawesi.

Facinating view”
Pros - Great place to stay with beautiful view overlooking the beach. Decent food. I'd definitely recommend this place especially the Family Bungalow for big group. The only cons is there was no water in the morning that we had to shower in the toilet outside. Other than that, all is good.

My Vacation became a Nightmare”
When I choose the Cosmos Bungalows, I saw from the internet that we will get a beautiful room with a beach view. BUT.... A couple days before we went there, we contacted the manager to ask what facilities we can get in the room while we were there. The management said they don't have hairdryer and suggested I should asked my local friend to lend me one. I was so shocked with that kind of reply from the management. I tried to cancelled it even though I have to pay for the cancellation fee, but they didn't allow us to cancel it. I tried to ignore that problem, so we went to the bungalows. And I found that the room didn't get the beach views we only can see a building wall and the trees, and we can not get down to the beach from the hotel. And we have to take off out shoes/slipper when we went to the restaurant and all the way to go to the restaurant is slippery. That's it. We say goodbye to the bungalows and we move to other hotel.

This place is magical!! Friendly staff, good food with big portion, room was very clean and got very unique design. Never been satisfied like this in my life, I would give 10 star for this magic place.
