Dated decor but perfect location”
Staff were brilliant, Location is brilliant too, very clean and breakfast was good 4/5 I would say for the food. My negatives were the room decor was a bit dated and the bathroom was extremely small I'm 6ft4 and had to squeeze into the toilet and bathroom. Overall I'd say 7 out of 10, amazing location, very central, very clean too but could do with a spruce up

A refreshing change! A hotel that has charm and character.”
A small hotel full of character and charm. Whilst it may not have the facilities of the usual ' chain brand' in this price bracket, this is more than compensated for by the friendly and helpful staff. The bedrooms were varied in style and cared for by the exceptional housekeeping staff. An excellent buffet styled breakfast can be had in the brick vaulted and panelled dinning room and there was a fitness suite, for those who can't manage without! The location was excellent with easy access to the Metro system and other means of public transport, a short walk from the theatre district and Andrassy utca. A quirky but delightful hotel, where it's easy to forget that you are not in the 1920's, and one to which I look forward to returning soon. My only regret was that there was no live music to complete the general theme. I would thoroughly recommend Cotton House to anyone who is looking for that somewhere different Chris Newitt

Pros. Cleanliness, decor, pleasant helpful staff, great dining room & food even champagne for breakfast. Themed rooms of past stars. Lovely comfy beds & furnishings. Not far from the station & West End shopping Mall. Would recommend. Cons. Street a a bit shabby but lots of bars & restaurants.

A poor bedroom ( number 8) with a small glass stained window that let in no daylight so all lights on when in the room. Wash basin cracked and TV remote not working and TV difficult to work manually. On plus side breakfast was very good, Location while close to the rail station is in a dingy side street.

No air conditioning”
Despite having set thermostat that conveniently does not show you the temperature in the room to the minimum temperature allowed, the temperature in the room did not change a bit and I was sweating all night long. Terrible night’s sleep. Luckily I was able to get a fan from the front desk staff and had better sleep my second and last night at this hotel. I would not stay at this hotel again simply because it was unbearable to sleep in the heat. And the shower stall was leaking water all over the floor. Shower heads didn’t work well either with a shower head selection knob completely missing.

Bei der Buchung wurden alle Wünsche was das Zimmer betrifft von vorn herein berücksichtigt. Sehr aufmerksam. Extrem freundliches Personal. Einen besonderen Dank an Brigitta, die sich außergewöhnlich engagiert hat.! Wir hoffen sehr, dass Ihr Arbeitgeber sie entsprechend zu würdigen weiß. Selten habe ich einen so hervorragenden Service erlebt. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Mit jeden Anliegen hat sie uns gut gelaunt, kompetent und schnell geholfen. Gutes Frühstück mit ebenfalls freundlichen Personal. Alles wurde schnell nachgelegt. Von Obst über Speck mit Eiern, Salatsuswahl, Käse, Salami und Wurstauswahl alles von guter Qualität vorhanden und liebevoll gestaltet. Guter Kaffee mit verschiedenen Wahlmöglichkeiten am Gerät. Toller Frühstücksraum. Es befinden sich im unteren Geschoss noch weitere toll eingerichtete Bereiche. Schade war, dass diese nach dem Frühstück geschlossen waren. Toll wäre eine Bar oder eine Raucher Lounge in diesem Bereich. Und die Möglichkeit, abends noch Snacks bestellen zu können.

Purtroppo l'hotel è ancora in piena attività di ristrutturazione con impalcature davanti all'ingresso principale, operai (per carità) che camminano sui ponteggi, non c'è tranquillita', polvere da tutte le parti, hotel non da quattro stelle, non esiste proprio, non ha le caratteristiche di un 4 stelle, le finiture delle stanze lasciano molto a desiderare, un televisore da 16 pollici posto a 6 metri di distanza ci voleva il binocolo per vederlo, l'hotel deve migliorare molto.

Olisin muuten antanut täydet pisteet siisteydestä, mutta yksi seikka häiritsi. Hotellissa oli voimakkaasti tuoksuvia "ilmanraikastimia" joka puolella. Veimme huoneessamme olevat respaan ja hengitttäminen oli jo huomattavasti helpompaa.
