We enjoyed this place at it was conveniently located next to the new walkway on the quay and in walkable distance to the cty Center. Value for money doesn't get better than this. It may be tricky to find, but Dream Hotel is a short distance from downtown Saranda, yet is positioned in the middle of a cove with its own beach area. Upon it they've placed hammocks and four poster beds, all in stunning white. And it faces right across to an island, where sailboats and cruise hips pass by in the distance....

The hotel is quite nice, but it's about a 30-40 minute walk from the center of town. The WiFi works well, and the design is unusual. The bed was quite squeaky but ok. The air conditioning didn't get really cold.

The hotel is beautiful and well located but the best thing about it is the home cooked breakfast: we have been traveling for 2 years and we have a hard time to remember a better breakfast we had in that type of family runned hotel. Love it and we might be back next year...
Cheap places to stay in Albania
One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Amazing staff, warm, friendly and helpful. Fantastic homemade breakfast. Great location. (Though it's right in the centre you don't feel like being in the city.) Good atmosphere, very social place and it's easy to meet other people. And last but not least, they have 4 cute dogs to cuddle and play with. Highly recommended :-)
The room was in the basement. Actually we felt really uncomfortable and there was no heater... so we had maybe 15-16 degree during the night in our room.
The host are very nice and friendly, it likes living in a local's house, rather than in hostel, it is very comfortable and make you feel warm. And the hostel location is very good, easy to walk to everywhere. I hope to get a chance to come again ;)
The hostel is like ten mins walk from the square, a beautiful house which was decorated by the lovely couple themselves, everything is perfect, but I still have to point something out, firstly an obvious sign, then sometimes the toilet on the 2nd floor can’t flush.. Good location and very well designed living-room / kitchen. But - most of the staff - volunteers (good will, but not professionals). Also, they clean at 8, 9 am, and it annoys.

I highly recommend to stay in Klajdi apartment. Our host was so generous and talkactive. Enjoyed every minute of staying in their lovely building. Room has all facilities you need for solo or family vacation, view from balcony is just fabulous. Family-run business gives you feeling like you are part of their family. No doubt we’re coming back !

Very clean room, very friendly owner of guesthouse. Bathroom is very good also. Room itself is big. I think it is very good deal for such money. We traveled with a car so location did not matter so much on us. But if you don't travel by your own car it can matter.

The food was amazing, the hotel was beautiful and the view from the room was absolutely stunning. The only issue might be that it is a climb up to the hotel if you have no car. A trip up to the hotel costs about 5 euros by taxi.
