Location: The hotel is just 5 min walk from Sagarnaga Street, so it's basically close to many things a tourist need. Staff: The staff of the hotel have been extremely helpful. During our stay in La Paz, we had one flight and one cross-border bus cancelled. The staff have tried their best to offer help and showed their support to us. Decorations: Set in a restored colonial buildings, the interior of the hotel is well decorated. Some of the rooms even have balconies. We had a comfortable stay there. Food: The breakfast buffet is very decent. The restaurant, Tambo Colonial, is a gem. The portion of food is very large and the food itself is nicely presented and delicious.

First of all, we chose this place because it is just few minutes walk from the bus drop-off point. we know our bus ride will arrive early in the morning from La Paz, thus, we chose a place that is very accessible by foot. We wish to have a rest immediately since we only plan to take the Salar de Uyuni tour the next day. We were delighted by the hospitality of the male staff who attended us that early morning. Supposedly our room is only available at 1pm, but since there are other rooms unoccupied, he just allowed to stay in other vacant room. It was indeed a huge consideration on their since we came very exhausted from the very long bus ride. The location is also very close to the tour agencies as well. We recommend Salty Desert! The hotel is very clean and looking new. I appreciate the attentiveness of the hotel staffs. Plus, the female hotel receptionist speaks good English. Very helpful to us!

we stayed twice in this hotel, before and after trip to national park. We love this hotel that all made from salt include wall, ceilling,tables, even bed! Hotel provides decend hot shower and heater which is really important when you travel here in winter. We didnt like the shower pressure in our first stay (water can change from hot to cold constantly), so we mentioned to front office staff that we would like to have a room with better shower system. Surprisely we've been upgraded the second time with a big bathtub and great shower pressure ( so you need a little bit luck with the room condition.. (first time stay was a room on the first floor with no view, second time was a salt flat view on the third floor). At least the staff listened our concern and did action about it, which this kind of service you can barely recieve in Bolivia. Food is nice and they have buffet for lunch n dinner. The only problem is too far away from Uyuni town, where all the travel agencies located. It's about 30-45 mins taxi ride between hotel and town, hotel needs to call a cab everytime you travel to town (35usd one way) so recommend book a trip with travel agency in town before heading to hotel, and most agencies do provide pick up from hotel due to it is on the way to salt flat. You can also walk 30mins to salt flat, hotel is on the edge of salt flat. Definatly recommend this hotel!

heart of the city, good service and perfect shower with unlimited hot water. Packed breakfast for our very early flight. One thing not happy was Agoda’s room price interpretation. US $10 resort fee was on top of the room price which was different from other comptitors. I used 2 main online service providers in my Peru & Bolivia and I found most of the time I needed to pay extra sort of “tax” or “fee” on top of the room price which was not happened in other competitors.

Staff were rude, especially if you didn't speak spanish. They wouldn't let us check in until gone midday despite arriving on an overnight bus at 7am- if this was hotel policy and universally applied we would have accepted it, however we saw other people checking in as soon as they arrived - hours before this time. There were rooms available on the day we arrived as we walked past several empty and prepared rooms en route to ours. On check out we saw other customers complaining and trying (unsuccessfully) to get a refund not their room. Everywhere is Uyuni in central as its a tiny place but there aren't many places you can book online. I would wait and book accommodation on arrival as you will get a much better deal. This is place is overpriced and not worth your time.

everything about this hotel was great. Close to the main plaza in La Paz, helpful friendly staff with good english skills. They looked after our bags when we went to the jungle in rurrenabaque for four days at no charge. Only thing i would recommend is a room on the third floor because the hot water for the showers on that floor is run by gas so they get nice and warm. the other floors are electric shower heads and dont get as hot and in La Paz you want a warm shower. Plus the electric heads have a habit of sparking.

Overall the hotel is good. The location is good to access the airport, but if you stay more than just taking a connection flight, it would be better to stay at the city centre. The gym has nice equipments, but the gym room is too hot. An air conditioner there wouldn't be a bad idea. In my room the TV wasn't working at first and the technicians took about 30 min to get it repaired. There were no towels in my room, I had to ask in the reception and they brought me only one full body towel. Since I was there for just one day, I didn't bother to complain and I was already a bit disappointed with the TV issue. I prefer to think I was unlucky to have some small issues but in normal circumstances it would be better, but anyway for this stay the hotel doesn't deserve better grade from me.

After having read reviews that the garden rooms were quieter, I was glad when I was taken there but it did not last long. The showers are far far away (and as it was raining, you get wet to get to them and wet again to go back to your room). The room (1 big comfy bed) was so humid that it smelt of mould and of course no heater. Your towel cannot dry and you can't leave it to dry outside as it rains on it. Because of the humidity, it was a struggle to close the door. Wifi is only at the café or at reception whihc makes it a cluster of people on their phones and no communcation. Breakfast was good with plenty of fruit but I noticed that if you want pancakes or queso, you'd better be there later than the starting time. I would not stay there again

우유니 겨울시즌에 묵는 숙소는 잠자리가 따뜻한가 핫샤워가 가능한가가 제일 중요! 너무 친절한 사장님과, 따뜻한 잠자리, 24시간 가능한 핫샤워, 다른 호스텔에 비해 압도적으로 깨끗한 환경, 식당 화장실 샤워실등 공용 공간의 깔끔함과 편리함. 가격대비 이 호스텔은 거의 최고입니다. 투어사들에서 거리가 걸어서 10-15분걸린다는 점과 방에서는 와이파이가 조금 약하다는 점만 제외하면 정말 최고의 숙소입니다. 물론 공용공간의 와이파이는 최고 빵빵합니다. 강력추천. I think this is the best hostel in Uyuni considering price. Staffs are really nice and helpful. They have warm and clean room. You can enjoy hot shower 24hrs. The bath room and shower booth are also clean and convenient. They offer great wi-fi in community facilities. The only draw back are that it takes 10-15 minutes from main district on foot and wi-fi is weak in room. But other than that, it is best. I will choose this hostel again later.

We only stayed one night as we were passing back through La Paz. We had stayed in two other places in La Paz previously. This was the best for location and room had everything you needed, we were high up so it wasn't that loud which was great. Wifi in our room. Hotel staff helpful. Room was clean but bathroom was cold, no biggy. Room was ok size, TV worked well. Check out was ok - tried to charge me more but I showed them the booking so they changed it to lower amount. Give yourself some time before leaving to do this! Taxi to airport - they were a bit cheeky here as we asked to book a taxi to airport but they charged us more than the going rate (we have taken 3 taxis to and from airport to this area previously) but they said it was because they had an agreement with a taxi company that was safe, reliable and good cars. We thought ok as it was a little awkward to get a cab in early hours of the morning - the car the next day was awful - I swear it could have fallen apart whilst driving but then again not all taxis are great! But being charged more for this annoyed us.

Good place to stay in the middle of the tourist area. The receptionist are really friendly and helpful of everything you might ask about. It was not very soundproof in our room since there was a big glitch under the door, but we also paid for the cheapest room so could probably not expect more. Hot water in the shower. Not the most fancy toilets but they do their work. Only one charging point in our room. Apart from that it’s good for the price payed. Would stay here again!

The little rooms are hardly enough however, the big room we stayed in was generous (we did not stay in the wagons). The location of this hotel is perfect, its walk able to everything, and right in front of all the tours organisers you will need to spend your time in Uyuni. Ask Chris to point out the best operators to book with. The staff are friendly and you can ask Chris to stop talking when he has a lot of information to share :P Wifi was ok for the most part but that's usually the case no matter where you stay in South Am. Overall a nice place to stay and would recommend.
