what a refreshing change from some of the unprofessional, not equipped, unkempt places in panama! They really get the international traveler and don't charge an absolute fortune to get it. Friends from Spain recommended the BW Zen and they were not wrong! I have already rebooked for July 5 and will do so again and again. Saving a few dollars for a fraction of what you ...

Excellent hotel, location and staff... I found no faults with this hotel. Excellent for families, groups and ect.. Hotel does NOT allow for guest unless your willing to pay an additional $30.00 USD per person. This applies mainly to hotel guest who might want to bring up local friends or acquaintances. The rooftop pool closes entirely too early (7:30pm) during summer ...

Nice place to stay in Panama City; Unless you can afford the same quality in the Casco Viejo area, this is a great choice. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We paid $60+tax and loved it for the price (we stay in a wide range of hotels when traveling, from $20 per night hostels to 5 star hotels).

I had several nights at this hotel - just two minutes' walk to the Via Argentina Metro station. Spacious room (304) with big bed and small sofa, good bedding and bedside reading lights. Complimentary (I think) coffee making machine and small mini bar. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful - with good English language skills. Prices for laundry are a little s...

Good to stay if you have business in Panama City. I was so impresses with the welcome cookie which is the unique of double tree by Hilton hotel and it is very delicious. The lobby is very well design but the room is not as modern as the lobby but clean anyway.

Great place. Our first time staying in an over water bungalow. We really enjoyed the great experience. Good food, great room, comfy bed, awesome views, cool feeding the fish, awesome jungle walk out back with lots of sloths! Highly recommend this place. Only 1 issue is the place across the bay that blasts terrible reggae-tron music until 4am. Not this places fault tho!...

Waldorf Astoria Panama is a real jem! Very high level service, unbelievable rooms, classy restaurants and a fantastic swimming pool and spa! The hotel is situated in the financial centre and it is located 30 minutes ride from the airport. Don't waste time taste Panama and stay at Waldorf Astoria a really new experience is waiting for you!

Although a brief stay, we loved the private room/bath with outdoor porch. Comfy, quiet and restful. We could have easily stayed longer. Yes, one is captive to their food menu but the dinners are remarkably good and reasonably priced. The breakfast pancakes are huge and will fill you & another until mid afternoon. The pool was a plus and there’s ample activities ...

The Riande is the best option for travelers who needs to stay close to the Tocumen Airport. It is 15 min away, and the stay is very good. Very clean and quiet hotel. Loved the balcony option. A must stay for any passing through travelers.

We stayed here after arriving on a late flight and before leaving on an early flight. It's better than average for airport hotels, with a fresh, if modest, breakfast selection, including Belgian waffles. The pool is quite nice and was underutilized on my stay, just me out there doing slow lazy laps before a drink at the picnic tables. Courteous, prompt service, very pr...

Our stay at this resort was excellent. Great, clean room with excellent view. Lots of activities eg. fitness room, pools, water slide, poolside dance class - somehow we missed the yoga class (cancelled?). Nice presentation of variety of foods. Could dine indoors or out. Candles in the evening would have been an added touch. No entertainment. We missed the disco ...

The hotel is very convenient as it is located next to the exhibition hall and nearby all the basic facilities like food etc. Also a walking distance to a nearby shopping mall. The hotel it self is good with ample room size but may be costly on certain peak month or functions occurring on the day you need it. The only bad about this hotel is it beakfast, same thing ever...

Really great hotel in the heart of Panama City. Great views of the metropolitan city, good restaurants, and pool scene. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the city. Right across the street from the mall and casino. The only issues we ran into was at the spa, front desk, and housekeeping as it was strictly language-related, to no one's fault.

Our stay was satisfactory for an overnight stay before an early flight. However, there is no sign on the front of the building to say it is the Hotel Panama Marbella... in fact it is actually in the same building as the casino resulting in a lost taxi driver and a higher charge for my ride. Very frustrating.

Amazing location in the Casco Viejo. Very clean, well equipped, with a sense of detail and attention to maintain a retro style (light switches, bathroom, wooden floor, bedside lights,...) Some issues with the staff follow-ups - we struggled with airport transfer, canal visit booking, restaurant and jazz club bookings - and for the price they charge, you would expect th...

Really good hotel for the price. Clean, good condition, air con, private bathroom with great shower. Location is halfway between the city and old town- can walk to both in less than half an hour. Close to local places to eat and fast food places but not really quality restaurants. No english spoken at hotel. Staff are ok. Room gets cleaned daily. Only five mins walk fr...

Nicely decorated place with a small and clean pool, a communal kitchen and some nice chill out areas. Pancake mix and bananas are free every morning. Stayed in a private room which is very basic but absolutely fine for a night or two. Shared bathrooms were fine and staff was nice. You can walk to the Cinta Costera in like 20 Min, to Casco Viejo it takes 40 min by 2alki...

Great building on quiet residental with lots of space and good cooking area. We could walk to the bay and see the canal entry or jump on a bus to the end of the causeway for 25cent. You can take a bus from the end of the road to albrook then anywhere in the city. Great fun and small pool to cool down in. Thanks again for letting us stay.

I have been traveling for 8 months and Bambuda Castle is my favorite hostel of my whole stay. First of all, who wouldn't want to stay in a castle. Plus the facilities were great, pool, hot tub, kitchen, foosball, option to rock climb up the side of the castle. The views from the Castle were amazing and I enjoyed coming back every day and just enjoying the view. The...

Ecolodge was perfect for my stay in Santa Catalina, it was quiet, clean and super relaxing! The staff was really great, they took very good care of, were fun and friendly and they spoke very good English. Though, if you want to stay there you shouldn t mind being a bit far away from the village (15 min. walk) and also from the beach. I liked the walks very much, but be...

Luis was very kind and friendly! We had a great stay. - the kitchen had a refrigerator, an oven, and all of the dishes/cookware - Wi-Fi worked well - no water heater, but the water temperature was fine without it - a minute walk to the grocery store, 15 minute walk to the water taxis - great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to rest betwe...

We stayed here and absolutely loved it. This hostel is a really well thought out and cater for all needs and wants. Cooking facilities (2 kitchens) are perfect with every utensil you could imagine and super clean! Just remember to do grocery shopping before you come. There is a restaurant attached which served amazing food for a reasonable price if you prefer not to c...

didnt really enjoy it; grubby; rooms had nowhere to hang clothes or put anything, except two tiny nighttables. kitchen, but grubby, and for first two days had no sink. front rooms noisy with grocery store across the alley; back upper rooms better situated. reception staff relatively helpful, but never saw any cleaners plumbing didnt work well, our shower w...

Thé Hotel is located in the Main Street of the village. To get there from bocas, the taxi boat costs you 3 dollar per person for the traject. + : main room with tables and hammocks in front of the water, the cocktails ;), the free acces to wizard Beach. _ : because of its location, you need to take a taxi boat to go to the beaches around. To eat , you have a lot o...

i was a backpacker and had no choice stay here due to the limited budget. the stay was ok but not clean. no hot shower available. the staff was good people, so it was a help to me. also shuttle bus is available. normally you need an expensive transportation fee from airport, so it was a big help for saving.

We have appreciated the location. Near the Main Street, very quiet. The family bungalow was really useful but there was a few thing missing to cook properly. We would have appreciated that the room could have been made to empty the garbage daily. It was difficult to meet the lady who clean the room or the administration of the place. The WiFi connection was so so...

We we're welcomed very friendly and got a tour around the property. Everything is really clean and very beautiful. The bungalows are amazing and each unique. Since there are hardly any other restaurants around we stayed for diner. The food was so good, there really was no need for another restaurant. We spent each of the 3 days eating at Naturalmente, each was perfect!...

Disappointed with the hotel and thought that a three star rating would provide better quality accomodations than those actually experienced. For example, the lighting in the bathroom was so inadequate that the guest could not tell if the bathroom was adequately clean. Therefore, the guest refused to shower and minimally used the face basin.

I stayed 2 weeks with no regret. They can improve the internet connection in the rooms and the business center, other than that, all good there. Clean, close to subway station, close to the best area for a walk in Panama, Cinta Costera, you cannot miss this

Our plan was to stay 3 nights, but we really liked it here, so we booked 2 extra nights! Our taxidriver had some troubles finding this place in night time. The breakfast was really good. For me it was the best breakfast I had in Panama! They have a whirlpool with a beautiful view! We really enjoyed this at the end of the day :) The owner knows a lot about the environme...

had a wonderful stay at the intercontinental in panama. the area was very lovely and i walked around it a bunch finding different restaurants to eat at. my room also had an amazing view of the canal and all of the many buildings in the city. the pool area is also great for a relaxing day.

Very relaxed. Positive: close to Panama City. If one feels bored, take a taxi to enjoy the city life. Staff at the hotel not always helpful. Concierge desk during daytime often not available. Restaurant ': Extremely slow service - had to wait for a burger for almost an hour. When it arrived it was burnt and had to be returned. Had a drink on the house but that did no...

At check in the staff was awesome. My flight and I arrived early to Panama City. The transfer to the hotel went off without a hitch and I arrived at the Executive hotel several hours before. I was content with wi-fi access and sat down to message friends. Before the first message was written, they issued a room and key for me. Carlos at the front desk was very h...

We traveled in off season. There were only 20 people in this 200+ room hotel. Most of the lights in hall ways and all the extras a resort has to offer were shut down. The rooms were beautiful, however the hotel needs some work. Maintenace work. The people who run the tours we were not impressed with. They were not truthful and did not speak english well. We were told w...

The hotel staff is kind and nice at all moments, they keep the areas and rooms extremely clean. The food is good! They offer rppm service until 9pm. It has a Casino and a Pool, maybe a turnoff is that the staff doesn't speak english. But the Hotel is in a centric area of the city, maybe not the best, nor have the best views but is located at a centric area close to Ca...

Overall the hotel was average as the shower was old, the service was spotty but the hot towels were amazing! We did have one person who brought an ice cream for our son's birthday. She was amazing! Otherwise, I heard one worker say she wanted to kill the Gringos and when I lost my phone they laughed at me! Great location!

This was my second stay at Valle Escondido, I just love the tranquility that I experience during my stay. They have. a small Rver that runs through the property that embodies calmness & Stress free environment the beautiful flowers and well manicured surrounding is the perfect set up to de stress & relax. Their heated poor & Jacuzzi are another plus. The only improveme...

After some mediocre choices in the rest of Panama, we were thrilled to find the Hotel Valle del Rio. Rooms were well decorated, with lovely soft pillows and a very comfortable King bed. My husband is very tall, and other "King" beds in hotels were really more like doubles. The pleasant balcony overlooking the river was a plus after a day of hiking.

Arrived early from flight and the cheery, helpful front desk gal let us check in at 8am. We had a room facing street which was really noisy day and even worse at night. Didn't sleep at all. The room itself was really nice. Comfy beds good hot water pressure. Told front desk gal about it and she was really empathetic. Called mgr, changed our rooms to sea facing with no ...

I like the remodeling of the hotel room and facility. However that’s it! My major dislike was the front desk staff. The day of my arrival was my honeymoon. Day’s before I arrived. We called to request the and upper floor room. I was told ask upon my arrival make the request since it’s our honeymoon. At arrival the front desk was rude and unaccommodating they gave us tw...

The staff was very helpful, the place is right in the heart of bocas town with 2 mins walk to everything u need: food, tours, atm. A bit inconvenient was the check-in available only at 13.00.. after arriving at 7 in the morning on a night bus. But the staff kept our luggages while we wondered around. We had 3 nights here - enough to explore the beautiful beaches around...

Pros: big, clean rooms, location was good (could take uber $2-4 most places) Cons: very rude staff! breakfast was very picked over if you didn't get there right at 7 - I couldn't find cutlery or a bowl. Their page says English and Spanish speaking, but everyone who I spoke with was very dismissive when I couldn't keep up with their Spanish, and they didn't speak Engli...

A good location on the edge of gentrifying (with accompanying higher prices) Old Panama City. Perfect for wandering the plazas and sights. One staff member in particular was extremely helpful in advising us about the best way to spend our several days there. It's a little hard to find, but quite nice within. Definitely recommend.

Conveniently location within walking distance to restaurants, bars, tour booking agencies and even the airport, the location is the best attribute about this hotel. The whole place looks a little dated, but overall the stay is quite ok if you don't set your expectations too high. We upgraded our room to the one facing the sea with a balcony and sipped on a coconut each...

We stayed at this hotel during our lay-over in Panama and were very impressed with the flexibility offered us by the hotel. We arrived very early and where immediatedly allocated a nice, spacious room and due to a late flight the next day, again, the hotel gave us a very late check-out with no problems. The hotel has a charming bar, great restaurant, swimming pool and ...

Good stay, Great night life. Not a hotel for families. It is very much geared for solo travelers. The hotel had A/C problems but I assume that will be addressed. As with all other hotels in Panama, do not use the hotel provided taxi/car service. Walk 7 meters and hail a taxi and save 50% or more.

The building looks like a big plantation-style home in the South. The room was very classy with tall ceilings, comfy bed, his & hers sink in the bathroom, and a waterfall shower head over the bathtub. It was relaxing and peaceful. The manager, Deysi, was very welcoming and friendly. There is a communal "honor" bar stocked with various drinks and liquors so you can help...
