Property looks very old and is in serious need of renovation. The closet doors in the bedroom don't open easily. The wallpaper in the en suite bathroom is peeling off the walls. The carpets have stains.

Not to our expectation”
We have been to many of the well known IHG chain of hotels. This is by far the most disappointing under the name of Crown Plaza. The rooms are very outdated, with decor that would give you the vibe of a 1980's hotel. The bathroom tub had cracks inside and out and dark stains everywhere. Nothing about this "standard" room we stayed in was comforting for us.

I booked for king size bed but they gave me two twin bed room. Hotel is renovated from Riyadh palace hotel hence not real crown plaza thing. However, yazeed (receptionist) was very helpful and he give us complementary dinner. Definitely not going to this hotel agian as it is not upto standard of Crowne Plaza.

Good value if you want that location”
I have stayed here several times when the price is lower (during summer) and I wanted to be in that location. The hotel is not new, but the staff are very friendly. Swimming pool is large and open. The breakfast is excellent. Its a shame the price goes up too high the rest of the year.

The furniture was quite old and the bed was uncomfortable, the toilet was old too ( the shower faucet was (green) which was disgusting. Yes the staff were friendly and helpful but I don’t recommend this hotel to any one

Given the age of the property, the fixtures were all below the standards of a 5 Star Hotel. The kettle was leaking (even after replacing). The bathroom features are not to the mark. The beddit water takes so much time to drain off.

Perfect for late flights”
Very generous and fair offer. Their hour for check out is 3pm, so this made it perfect for late flights. Clean, quiet, good breakfast and above all the perfect incredible kind, polite and attentive staff. I consider this hotel very lucky to have at reception Yazeed, who is exceptional good professional, knowing perfectly how to manage any problem.
