This is the very first time I visit Japan and I am so glad I choose Daiwa as my stay. Workers are all friendly and speaks English. Location of the hotel is clean and even I am poor at finding directions, I can easily reach to this hotel, what a nice location! Clean and neat room with perfect service and location, my five nights here was amazing. Highly recommended

Very good location with covered underground link to Kyoto station about 100m away. Beds very comfortable, good shower n bath tub. Separate bath n WC. Full suit of liquid soap n shampoo. Nice breakfast. Very new n good condition. Very happy with the stay.

Perfect location. Lawson, shopping and food right out the door. Ability to check laundry facility availability via TV is amazing. The only downside is IC (i.e. Suica/ICOCA) payment not available for laundry; need to save 100yen coins or use JP mobile payment systems. Hope the hotel can add IC laundry payment in the future or install a 100yen change machine. The room is nicely designed and furnished, but the door sound isolation is not good, lots of sounds go straight through from the hall and the room across. Walking down the hall, you can hear sounds of people and/or their TV through their door.

This hotel is connected via underpass from JR Kyoto, making its location excellent. Hotel is relatively new and size is larger than expected. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Kyoto.

Good stay at Heart of City”
Well linked via underpass from Kyoto station to the hotel front door. Buffet breakfast was good with Japanese and western selection. Twin Room (Hana style) is spacious and well laid out; we especially enjoyed relaxing around the sofa area after a day out.

Wonderful experience ”
The location is very convenient, connected to the Kyoto Station building directly, making transportation (the most important thing in Kyoto traveling), eating, and shopping a breeze. The staff has been extremely helpful, and they speak good English and even Mandarin. Rooms were compact but well-designed and clean. The only thing I found less than perfect is that the breakfast buffet was quite repetitive over the days, but that was not really an issue. Overall, great service and atmosphere, reasonably priced, would come back and recommend to anyone.

Only a few minutes walk from main Kyoto station, and has several eating places, convenient stores nearby including Starbucks, Mac's, Burger King, Japanese restaurants, Vietnamese restaurants, local bars, supermarkets. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip back to Kyoto.

It was raining the day I arrived. Pushing the luggage is no issue as the hotel is fully connected via underpass from kyoto station. On sunny day, walking on the pavement is also a breeze.

Convenient location near train station. Very clean room but with obstructed city view. Good selection of delicious buffet breakfast. I would have given all 5 star for my review. I booked the bigger twin room which costs more but requested one bed as I am just one person. But the first night I got a twin room with two beds in it instead. The two beds occupy most of the room space which make the room very crowded. Only after my strong objections, I was moved into a double room with a single bed on the second day and fortunately for the rest of my stay. The front desk staff was initially very rigid in handling my concerns in this matter.

The location is perfect! A few minutes away the station and there’s also a nearby bus stop. The room is great also and very comfortable. Hotel staff also very friendly. Will stay again if I come back to Kyoto.

Very Clean, Centrally Located Hotel”
Just a few minutes walk from JR Kyoto Station, next to Yodobashi Camera and Kyoto Tower. A fairly new hotel and impeccably clean. The bed was very large, but on the firm side. Extra pillow provided in the closet. Separate bath and shower was a plus. Staff was very courteous. I really enjoyed my stay here!
