Absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms were so lovely and very clean. Love the heritage building it's in and how it's integrated into the hotels design. The pool was clean although the water was very cold. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was also amazing and the restaurant was gorgeous. My only problem of my whole stay there was the food at the restaurant. It was actually horrible. I was so disappointed especially given the price. However, I've already stayed here twice and would stay here again anytime I was in Jakarta.

The room is really lovely and clean. The standards are definitely there for the Mercure. We loved our stay there. My biggest complaint is the food. We had dinner there one night and I ordered a Cesar salad. It took an hour to come out and usually I'm not fussy with my food but the lettuce was not fresh, it had no dressing except mayo on the egg, it came with a side of untoasted bread instead of crouton, and had two big slices of not fresh chicken. It was bizarre and if it was a different take on a salad but tasted good I wouldn't even complain, but it was so flavourless and very expensive.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! Hotel may be in an old dirty area of town but the rooms are kept really well. Room was spacious, clean, and modern. Totally worth it!

Great Hotel with great staff ”
Room was a very good size AC worked perfectly. Shower had good pressure. Clean and comfort bed, linen and towels Restaurant is good - had a great Breakfast daily dinner some evenings. Beef steak and Salmon are excellent the lounge is comfortable and allows smoking The staff are very friendly and helpful especially who had advise about Bali Both the Hotel and Resident Managers are very warm and friendly and are a mine of good information for the traveler Thank you for a wonderful week

I spend all 5 nights at the same hotel. The Breakfast was nice! The staff was nice enough for me to eat breakfast at 10 am, even when breakfast timing has ended at 10. Location wise, it is mostly near places like mangga dua mall and square, also near dunia fantasia. Grab food is your best friend when you're hungry during the night

The room we stayed in was so big and clean, but need more chairs or sofa bed will be more better since the hotel doesn't have extra bed for more extra people or family members,and the chair inside the room was only one chair others needs to standing or sitting on the bed when we have conversation, the bathroom so clean and new and beautiful but the floor on the shower so slippery,I slipped my self on the floor, if the hotel can put something on it?to prevent people's from falling or get injured other than that everything was 👍 great we really like the stayed in the hotel

Our whole family enjoyed the beautiful hotel. It's a great location from which to base our forays out into Jakarta Old Town. I love the design. My boys (15, 12, and 6) enjoyed the pool and the breakfasts.
